[Hayabu 264] "Stayable Bike Garage House" An inn with a tatami mat concrete living room, lawn garden, and wood stove

Description

The concept is a "stayable garage house". You can experience "living with a garage" in your home. This inn values the feeling of "living". I think it would be fun to spend time in a model house while imagining "if you were to build your own house". If you'd like to hear about renovations, please feel free to contact your host at the time of your stay. The dirt concrete living room and bike garage has a wood stove, kitchen, and sofa, and the functionality is condensed into one floor. It has a simple interior that goes well with any bike, so you can relax with your beloved bike. The long, low eaves have little wind, and are used as a bicycle parking space and barbecue space. In the flat lawn garden connected to the room, you can watch the fire and the starry sky while listening to the sound of the waterway. The sound of the Wakasa Railway in the distance gives a sense of nostalgia. Enjoy a relaxing time with your loved ones and your beloved car (car or bike) in this quiet inn located in a quiet village. The space This accommodation is a renovated private house, built about 50 years ago, limited to one group per day. Half of the house (only the first floor) is occupied by the host couple, but it is partitioned to protect the privacy of the guests. The bath, toilet, and washroom are all available 24 hours a day and are exclusively for guests. ※ The host lives on the other side of the wall, so you may hear some everyday sounds such as the washing machine and cooking. Lawn garden There is a lawn garden that is almost flat and connected to the living room. The comfort of walking barefoot on the lawn cannot be obtained elsewhere. You can also make a fire and pitch a tent, making it ideal for outdoor beginners to practice. Also great for stargazing. The space under the eaves The deep, walk-through concrete floor serves as a parking and bicycle parking space. At night, it is a photo spot that enhances the beauty of your car with downlights. On rainy or snowy days, the deep eaves also function as an open living room. BBQ is also possible in bad weather. Living garage The dirt concrete living garage is about 16 tatami mats in size. There is plenty of room for 2 motorcycles. The large shelves are equipped with clothes hangers, helmet dryers, and tools, so you can experience the ideal garage house. The interior lighting is spotlights, and you can freely change the angle. It's like a motorcycle showroom. The design was conceived with the safety of your beloved vehicle and coolness in mind. There is also a kitchen, which is very functional with little movement. In winter, you can also experience the firewood stove. * Firewood costs will be charged separately. Furniture All furniture is for outdoor use, so the sofa and hammock in the building can be taken out to the lawn garden. You can feel the atmosphere as if the outdoors is also part of the room. There is 1 low cot, 1 hammock, and 1 sofa, so 3 people can sleep in the living garage with their beloved car without using the upstairs bedroom. You can enjoy the outdoors while staying in the house. Bedrooms The bedroom is upstairs and is accessed by stairs. It can accommodate up to 5 people in 2 rooms for 2 and 3 people. We left the tatami room as it was, without renovating it. The glass with a maple pattern, which is rarely seen nowadays, has a somewhat retro and nostalgic atmosphere. Meals You can cook for yourself as there is a full set of cooking utensils. If you let us know in advance, we can also provide BBQ equipment and charcoal (free of charge). Fireplace You can use the firewood stove in winter (around November to April). Be sure to get instructions from the host when you use it. Please be sure to contact the host if you want to use the firewood stove. * When using, you will be charged 3,000 yen per night for the fuel (firewood) cost. Please pay in cash at the time of your stay or leave cash on the table at checkout. * If you use the wood stove during the day for consecutive night stays, you will be charged an additional 3,000 yen (Japanese yen cash only). Fire You can make a fire in the lawn garden year-round. You'll need to get instructions from the host when you use it. Please be sure to contact the host if you want to use the fire pit. Guest access Accessible areas Lawn garden Living garage Staircase 2nd floor bedroom * Half of the first floor is off-limits as the host lives there. * The closet in the 2nd floor bedroom contains equipment. Guests can't use it. During your stay [Connecting with Hosts] I work at "Michi-no-Eki Hattou". Come and visit if you are interested. Also, please let me know if you want to hear about renovations, Tottori, or motorcycles. * Please contact us via Airbnb email. Other things to note [The host lives in the other half of the ground floor] ※ You may hear some living sounds from the other side of the wall. ※ You may encounter the host on the outside road or on the premises. The yard is open * There is no fence between the lawn and the driveway because we prioritize a sense of openness. ※ If you are outside, you may be greeted by local residents. Please try to say hello. New communication may be born. The area is a very quiet residential neighborhood ※ Loud conversations, loud music, and unreasonable motorcycle and car noise with the windows or outside open have a negative impact on the surrounding residents. There is a quiet space here that is not found in the city. We recommend enjoying the sounds of nature. Registration Details M310036936
