Guest access Guests have full access to the houseboat's lower level and the floating dock. The unit includes a private queen bedroom. A rollaway bed is available in the living area if additional sleeping space is needed. Please note that there is a separate unit above that is also rented on Airbnb. The units are independent and do not share interior space. Other things to note This is a floating home located on the water in an active houseboat community. As with all waterfront environments, tides and water levels naturally rise and fall depending on weather, seasonal conditions, and occasional king tides. During periods of higher tide or storms, water levels may affect dock access and, in rare cases, nearby roadways or vehicle access on and off the freeway ramps. These conditions are outside of host control and are considered acts of nature. Guests are encouraged to check local weather and tide forecasts prior to arrival to ensure the environment is a good fit for their stay. Guests should be comfortable navigating dock and ramp access, which can feel different than a traditional land based home. For this reason, the space is not recommended for young children or pets. It is also important to understand that houseboats are homes floating on the water. Tides ebb and flow, pigeons may coo early in the morning, and neighboring houseboats are close by. In return, guests are treated to magical sunsets, beautiful moon rises, and an ever changing waterfront setting. This houseboat community offers a lively and authentic marina experience. Guests seeking a perfectly quiet or traditional home environment may prefer a different type of accommodation.
