Immediately adjacent to the village is the Störmthaler See as well as the reforestations "Neues Oberholz" (forest). The region around Dreiskau-Muckern is characterized by blooming landscapes and fertile soils of the Göselaue. In gentle troughs, half hidden in the green of the fruit trees, is the village with its lovingly renovated three-sided courtyards. A wonderful domicile for cyclists who want to explore the Leipzig countryside and the variety of lakes (Leipziger Neuseenland), for horse and nature lovers, but also individual tourists.
