Description
This peaceful house located on a walled lot that part of an orchard once irrigated by the 200 year old Acequia Murillo. Acequias being the historic irrigation ditches that provided water for gardens and frills for centuries. The house was originally a shop and garage built in the late 1940's adjacent to an historic duplex and has just been converted into a cozy retreat just blocks from the plaza, and the rail yard. Walk to grocery stores and restaurants or to summer concerts The space There is one bedroom with full bath. Bath is also accessible from living room so there is no need to go through bedroom to use bathroom. There is a living room with high ceilings that has a queen sofa bed and an open kitchen dining area. There is a loft with single mattress and desk that overlooks living room. French doors open to the outside from bedroom and living room. Covered outdoor seating and dining is just outside that looks on to the large outdoor yard space with fruit trees and other landscaping. Other things to note We have a one month minimum stay but but encourage longer stays at our special place. We allow overnight guests with notice.
