Tucked away in the picturesque Kenn valley, near Exeter, The Ley Arms country inn has welcomed locals and travellers since the 13th century. In later years it took its name from a local landowning family who had five daughters, each unique in their characters but very obviously related by their beauty, we have taken inspiration from the girls, for our seven rooms which are all unique and yet have an undeniable connection running throughout. Suite Henriette is set with period furniture and bespoke soft furnishing and is all shades of blue from deep sapphire to ocean blue blended with yellow, mauve, and turquoise highlights. This room exudes timeless charm and exquisite taste. The room boasts a specious super king-size bed, complemented by luxurious cotton bedding, ensuring an indulgent and restorative night's rest. As you enter, a robe and slippers await, inviting you to unwind and indulge in relaxation. Now, The Ley, as we affectionately call it, serves traditional English dishes with ingredients plucked from the surrounding garden that is Devon. They call that provenance and it’s what The Ley is all about. This suite is DOG FRIENDLY, there is an additional charge of £25 which can be added when booking. Please inform us in advance if you are bringing a dog. We allow one dog per suite ( 2 small dogs may be allowed on request)
