Remhoogte Accommodation is situated approximately 230 km southwest of the Namibian capital of Windhoek. Neighbouring the Namib Naukluft Park and Namib Desert to the west, it’s the ideal place to break away and recharge. The farm facilities can only be accessed with an off-road vehicle. The type of guest who visits Remhoogte loves the Namibian outdoors and enjoys spending time with family and friends under the humming silence of starry Namib nights. The space Our units are in a quaint farm style. They are open plan with partial walls to separate main bedrooms from public spaces. In most units the additional sleeping spaces are located within the lounge or seating areas. All units have sheltered outdoor dining and barbeque spaces with beautiful views down into a semi-desert ravine. Wifi with a capped internet service is provided for ONE device; more vouchers can be purchased. There is no cellphone network coverage. If you have small children, you'll have to keep an eye out as there are quite a few hazards around. Expect a cat or two that wander around to keep the mice and geckos at bay on the homestead as well as our dogs who visit from time to time. Guest access There are many hiking and 4x4 trails to explore. Guests are free to wander and we only request that you not enter our private area which is clearly demarcated. Other things to note The kitchen is stocked with very basic necessities like coffee, tea, salt and pepper. Each kitchen has a French press, so remember to bring your coffee grounds. Wood and firelighters are for sale to barbecue if you didn't bring your own.
