The space About the Property & Amenities You will have private access to the house and use of several acres of land to enjoy, with lovely views of the river valley and surrounding mountains. There is a working family farm at the rear of the property and you might see the farmers (us) at work. The farm area is located down the hill from the house in the rear of the property, giving you plenty of privacy to enjoy your stay; we will not disturb you, but you are more than welcome to come say hello. We also offer farm tours, and farm fresh products including fresh eggs, milk, butter and ghee, which can be left in the fridge for you--simply message me for more information on these add ons at any time during your stay. The farmhouse stay is family-friendly and pet-friendly. Please note there is a licensed cannabis farm neighboring your private use areas that requires authorization to tour or enter. Guests must be 21 years old to consume cannabis on the property. Tobacco may only be smoked out of doors. There may be farm animals present on the property and please note, this is a working farm. Smoking is allowed outdoors, please use caution, only ash in ash trays, be 100% sure to put out every last ember of your smoking device or cigarette completely and dispose of properly. The full kitchen has full sized stove with oven, and full size fridge. It is stocked with olive oil, salt, pepper and basic spice seasoning, cookware and dinnerware for full meals is provided. Additional complimentary amenities such as welcome beverages, coffee and herbal teas are provided. There is a full bath and shower; complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided for bathing. There is an inside fireplace and outside fireplace pit/BBQ grill available for your use. Kindling and Firewood are provided. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO OPEN FLAMES OR FIRES ALLOWED FROM JULY - SEPTEMBER. There is a 1-2 person traditional (rustic) Finnish Sauna located at the Grapevine Deck, it uses a wood-fired stove, and kindling and firewood is provided. PLEASE NOTE THE WOOD-FIRED SAUNA AND WOOD-FIRED TUB ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE FROM JULY - SEPTEMBER. There is a 1-2 person outside clawfoot hot tub located in the Grapevine Deck, it is plumbed to only hot water. To use the outdoor hot tub, turn on the faucet and wait for the water to get hot before plugging the drain. This might take a few minutes. There is a cold water hose available next to the tub for cooling the temperature if the water is too hot for your liking. There is a small playground area you are welcome to use, and if you would like more inside toys made available, please message me with the ages of your children. The house is fenced in with several acres exclusively for your use, you may see farm animals on the other side of the fence or free ranging on the river plain. You will hear roosters in the morning and occasional lambs baaing or cows mooing nearby. Recreational Activities A Visitor’s Guide and map of Hyampom will be provided in the house, including where to access nearby trailheads and river access points. There is easy biking to some of the best swimming holes in the world, within 1 mile from the house. You can easily find a quiet place along the river with no other people around. There are hiking trails both in the Hyampom Valley along the South Fork Trinity River, as well as above the valley overlooking the valley accessible from Corral Bottom Road with beautiful views, and there are several trails that are mostly flat and easy to walk and immerse yourself completely in nature.
