Lillian’s Blackberry Cabin is a restored retreat with a story in every detail. Started by my free-spirited, hippie mom in the early 1980s, it sat unfinished for decades. In 2020, we brought it back to life with a renovation, honoring its roots while adding comfort. Today, it’s a peaceful escape to slow down, walk quiet dirt roads, and take in sunset views from the deck. Featured in 417 Magazine, it’s a one-of-a-kind place to unplug and reconnect. About 15 miles SW of Ava on Hwy 76 in Goodhope. The space Lillian’s Blackberry Cabin is a labor of love and a dream come true. Once my childhood home, it sat neglected for 40 years until, in 2020, my cousin, husband and I began restoring it down to the studs. Now, it’s a cozy retreat where you can slow down, recharge, and connect with nature (be sure to say hi to our woodchuck under the deck). Come wander the dirt roads, sip coffee on the deck, or watch the sunset as fireflies light up the evening. ⸻ 🏡 The Space You’ll be surprised how spacious the 650 sq. ft. cabin feels thanks to its many windows and open layout. • Bathroom: Relax in the large walk-in shower, perfect after a day outdoors. • Kitchen: Beautiful and practical, with a center island that seats four, an electric cooktop, and a large toaster oven for easy meals. • Sleeping Arrangements: The open upstairs loft features a queen bed on one side and built-in twin beds on the other, with curtains for privacy — a dreamy nook for kids or extra guests. ⸻ 🌿 Outdoor Living Step outside to a large open deck, ideal for morning coffee or evening gatherings. Cook on the griddle grill, gather around the fire pit, and soak in the peace of the Ozarks under a sky full of stars. ⸻ 🚗 Getting Here The cabin is reached by a 2-mile rocky dirt road — part of the adventure of being tucked away in the country. Since this is the Ozarks, you may encounter bugs or critters.
