A freestanding cabin, our spacious Green Room has 2 double beds, air conditioning, minibar, wall, rechargeable fan, mosquito nets, and ensuite bathroom. There is a large private verandah with lounge, coffee table, dining table, solar lights, and hammock overlooking the mango, banana and avocado trees, exotic plants, herbs and vegetables. This secluded B&B/casa particular is just 10 minutes walk from the historical centre. Relax, read, sip on a mango daiquiri and enjoy the tranquility. The space There are 2 rooms for rent and we offer breakfast and dinner and drinks. The ingredients we use are sourced from the large garden and vegetable patch or local producers. The outdoor areas and verandahs have solar lights and the rooms have bedside lamps with rechargeable light globes and a rechargeable fan. A solar generator powers most electrical appliances when necessary. There is secure off street parking for 3 cars. Your host Fiona is an Australian now resident in Cuba, who has travelled extensively in Cuba, and other parts of the world and enjoys hiking and horse riding. Guest access Meals are served on the main verandah or in the patio. There is outdoor furniture and hammocks for guest use. The large garden, almost a hectare, is a wonderful place to explore and includes a swing for young children and a basketball ring. Off street parking is provided During your stay We are always happy to assist with advice and directions to all the attractions that Trinidad and its surrounds has to offer, make restaurant reservations or book taxi's and salsa classes. Fiona enjoys sharing her knowledge of local history and the best hiking and horse riding trails. Drinks and meals are available made with fresh produce from our garden or locally sourced ingredients. Other things to note We offer a full breakfast, snacks and dinner upon request, at moderate prices. Please notify us the day before. All dietary requirements can be catered for. We can also help with bookings for restaurants or Casas in other destinations, confirmations and taxi's and can provide snorkelling gear, beach towels. A same day washing service is also available. We are very happy to show you some of our favourite places in and around Trinidad. We have 4 dogs, a cat and chickens who love visitors. Whilst we do not have Wifi we can recommend that guests purchase a Cuban Sim Card before travelling from recargasacuba or ETECSA, or an e-sim from Gigsky, which works best with a VPN. A 4G hotspot is available.
