Completely renovated after 4 years of work, the Averroes Riad will dazzle you with its splendor. Echoing the marriage between faith and reason in Averroes' philosophy, the riad combines the refinement of a rich cultural heritage with the comfort of discreet contemporary facilities: each meticulously designed apartment has a bedroom with luxury bedding, a living room, kitchen and bathroom, for a unique residential experience THE APARTMENT The El Andalous apartment, located on the ground floor, has a traditional Moroccan living room, an equipped kitchenette (stove, fridge, kettle, dishes), a bathroom with shower and, on the mezzanine, a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m wide) with premium mattresses and cotton percale sheets. The double bed can be converted into 2 single beds on request (preferably at the time of booking). An extra bed is available in the living room (sofa). The apartment is lit by numerous openwork copper lamps; each unique piece is hand-chiseled by a master craftsman from Fez. A large glass door, decorated with traditional motifs, allows you to enjoy the soft light of the central patio while preserving the privacy of the occupants. Guests can also sit on the second floor to read and drink tea, or put the world to rights. Finally, they benefit from a large panoramic terrace with two different style lounges (traditional or Berber) sheltered by a mashrabiya pergola. They can also relax in the sun on sun loungers. Other things to note > Breakfast at an additional cost (60 Dh/person) > It is possible to have lunch and dinner at the riad (on request, if possible the day before). > High-speed internet (fiber optic) and possibility, for a more stable connection, to plug into RJ45 sockets, available in the apartments and in the shared spaces. > Premium bedding with memory foam mattresses, duvets and percale sheets. For the chilly, thick wool blankets are placed under each bed. > The bathroom has towels, liquid soap/shower gel and a hair dryer. > Each apartment is equipped with a lap desk to allow you to write or use a computer in the living room or in bed. > The Averroes Riad can book a taxi for the transfer between the city and the airport (20 euro per trip during the day) > We are available to put you in touch with a sworn guide (visit of the medina) and to help you organize your activities (hammam, henna, spa...) and your trips or excursions (Meknes, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, desert, etc.) > The apartments are non-smoking.
