Le Moulin du Saon

In a beautiful wide area you will find the vacation home "Le Moulin du Saon." Escape the hustle and bustle of the day and relax, but also enjoy all the sights and activities just a stone's throw away. The house is equipped with every comfort, including heating and air conditioning per room and WiFi. Located just a 15-minute drive from the beach, a large national park, the city of Bayeux and various activities/sights. Enjoy and discover the rich history! The space A tasteful and comfortable stay The house was completely renovated in early 2023 with attention to old details to maintain the cozy atmosphere. The spacious living room is a wonderful place to play games together or to relax and watch a movie on the smart TV. There are various (board) games available, and you can also log in with your own account to various streaming services and the Xbox. The house is equipped with an air-to-air heat pump that allows the house to be both heated and cooled. Almost every room in the house has its own thermostat that can be set to your liking temperature. (This makes home gasless, so a carbon monoxide detector is not necessary.) Sleeping: Our 8-person holiday home has 5 bedrooms. Two large master bedrooms each with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and two bedrooms with a single bed. Bed linen is included and there is also a camping bed available.   Bathroom: On the ground floor, there is a spacious modern bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower, toilet, double sink, towel rack, plenty of hanging hooks and a hair dryer. On the first floor there is an additional toilet with sink. Towels are included and there is toilet paper provided for the first few days.  Kitchen: The equipped kitchen has all the equipment you need, including a dishwasher, combination microwave, kettle, filter coffee maker, mixer and toaster. A few coffee filters, tea bags and coffee are provided for the first few cups, as well as tea, hand & dishcloths, a dishwashing brush, a sponge, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, baking paper, pepper and salt. Garden & Parking: Around the house is a large garden with unobstructed views and there is a river flowing around the property. The adjacent building is the old water mill and now serves as a shed. Outside is a spacious garden table with chairs and a parasol. Enjoy the beautiful views, the nature, the chirping birds and the flowing water. Relax and unwind in the two sun loungers and feel free to use the olieton BBQ. In the closet in the living room there are a few small outdoor games.  Parking is available next to the house, there is space for several cars. There is an 11 kW charging point for charging electric cars. With your own charging cable, you can charge your car, at a rate of €0.45 per kWh. Small children: The little ones have also been thought of. The garden is largely enclosed, the staircase has stair gates, there are child-safe sockets and toys are also provided in the games cabinet. Furthermore, a camp bed, high chair, changing pillow, baby bath and toilet reducer are available on request. On one of the bedrooms there is a low closet that can serve as a changing table, for which a changing pillow is available on request. Laundry: During your stay, it is possible to wash and iron. In the stair closet you will find a washing machine, drying rack, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mop and various cleaning supplies. For the first laundry, washing powder is provided. Guest access The entire house and the surrounding garden are accessible. The barns next to the house are not accessible. Other things to note Upon arrival at the house, there are various "start" basic amenities, such as toilet paper, kitchen paper, coffee filters, coffee/tea, salt/pepper, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, etc. If this runs out, you must provide further supplements yourself during your stay. Parking is possible next to the house.
