The space A private side door entry to the suite allows for an easy come, easy go, stay. A sliding barn door separates the studio from the main house/kitchen. The sliding door is always locked from both sides, and it is alarmed. The security alarm will go off if the door were to open—this is for your and my safety. My kitchen is on the other side of the door. You may hear me cooking and doing dishes. I may hear you, too—the cost of an affordable Airbnb. Inside: Queen Casper bed with 100% cotton linens, luxurious shower with natural products, and dedicated workspace. The decor reflects my love for vintage furniture, Austin's music scene, and local artists. Central Heating & A/C is controlled from the main house. If it is too hot/cold, text us and we will adjust it for you. A single-serve Keurig coffee maker is perfect to get your day going. The mini-fridge has filtered and sparkling water, as well as coffee creamers, and the microwave can heat your yummy leftovers. No frills - just lovely, clean, quiet, and convenient. Outside: backyard fire pit and dining patio. We are in the process of renovating our gardens. Guest access Private entrance with key code access. Other things to note I live in the main house with 3 cats and 1 dog. The animals are NOT allowed in the studio. However, we have central heating and air, so if you are allergic to cats or dogs, you should NOT book with us. Because I live and work in the main house, I can usually respond to your needs quickly. However, I am serious about giving guests privacy - I will stay out of your way as much as possible. My kitchen is on the other side of the sliding barn door. You may hear us cooking, talking, and doing dishes throughout the day. I will respect quiet hours between midnight and 7:00 a.m. and expect the same of you. My home is in the flight path of Austin Bergstrom Airport. Morning flights start before 6:00 a.m. and can be annoying to a light sleeper or people with hyperacusis. If you are sensitive to sound, this is NOT the neighborhood for you. Please do not book if you are a light sleeper. For the average sleeper, you should be fine, but a white-noise machine is provided as a backup. Strict NO party policy. Please note that smoking of any kind and the use of drugs in or around the property is strictly prohibited (this includes outside spaces). Please use the Airbnb messaging app to notify me if you break or damage something during your stay. If you can provide photos, that’s great, too. A reimbursement request may be sent for missing, broken, or damaged items or extra cleaning.
