Private Ancram Oasis w/ Guest House & Fire Pit

Your adventure in Ancram begins! Enjoy fishing in the two ponds connected by a waterfall, go hiking or sledding amid the 7 acres of lush hillside or many nearby trails, pick fresh vegetables, herbs, & apples in the backyard garden, cook & bake on the Lacanche stove, relax into the evenings stargazing next to the fire pit. The space The 7 acres of lush hillside offers fishing in the two ponds, apple picking from midsummer to early fall, and a farm to table experience in the large vegetable garden (open April through early Fall---depending upon weather) and with a main house, guest house, and barn, you won't need to leave the property during your stay. However if you do choose to venture out we are just 2 hours from NYC and centrally located to many picturesque hiking trails, fabulous restaurants, historical sites, distilleries, wineries, breweries, and many quaint towns and villages. *25 minutes to Hudson *20 minutes to Millerton *25 minutes to Catamount Skiing *22 minutes to Bish Bash Falls ------------------------------------------------------ Exterior Parking-There is a 3 car garage with ample space to park inside or outside the garage. This is directly across from the main house and guest house. Barn (towards the back of the main house)- The barn provides another outdoor area to sit and relax. There is also a fire pit. ---------------------------------------------------- Main House 1. Downstairs Front entryway: A large stone pathway and 2 steps leads to the front porch overlooking one of the ponds and greenery. Living rooms: A formal living room greets you with a fireplace. The second living room is just a doorway away with a large TV, small library, fireplace, and designated workspace. Mudroom: off of dining room, this are boasts a washer and dryer, half bath, and seating area where you can take your shoes off and hang hats and coats. Dining Room: A large table with 8 chairs is perfect for any gathering. A large credenza holds extra silverware, plates, bowls, and wine glasses for your convenience. And just for an extra cozy touch, two armchairs sit in front of another fireplace separating the dining room and kitchen. Kitchen: This gourmet kitchen is a chefs dream. Boasting 2 large farm sinks, a 3 door fridge and freezer, a 5 burner gas stove, double ovens, countertop toaster oven, microwave and so much more! Windows surround the kitchen so you can enjoy views of the grounds and two sets of French doors provide easy access to the outdoor patio for entertainment and the back stone pathway to the guest house. Mudroom: Off of the dining room you will find a full size washer and dryer, folding station, mudroom sink, a large bench area to remove and store your coats and shoes, as well as a half bathroom. There is also a separate entry and exit door through this area. 2. Upstairs Full bathroom 1- located in the upstairs hallway this full bathroom features a shower bath combo and large sink. Bedroom with twin bed- across from the bedroom with king bed, this room features a built in desk and two door closet and overlooks the front and side yards. Bedroom with king bed- this bedroom also features a built in desk and two door closet and overlooks the guest house and front yard. Master suite with private full bathroom- A long hallway provides entry to this roomy and private master suite. The full bathroom includes a large walk-in shower and double sinks. The sleeping courters boast two double door closets, a fireplace, queen bed, and large TV. ----------------------------------------------------- Guest House Bedroom and Living room space- Beautiful French doors open into the combined sleeping courters and living room. There is a twin bed and queen bed side by side as well as a large TV. The living room side features a fireplace and designated work space. There is also ample closet space. Just for some added fun guests have access to a popcorn maker and mini fridge. Full bathroom- Featuring a large separate tub as well as a walk-in shower.
