‘Casita’ a word that means ‘Cute little home’ and this is what our place is. Within a converted warehouse our fresh studio apartment we have made sure you have all the comforts. Self contained. Great place to launch from, we are walking distance to public transport, 2 stations to the city, Easy travel by tram or train to Flemington racecourse. Kensington is a quiet city suburb, with quality Restaurants, cafes, breweries, distilleries and coffee roasters all next door or around the corner. The space Only 4kms to the city of Melbourne, nearby Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne Showgrounds, Zoo, State Hockey Centre, 20min from Melb airport by car. Secure Studio ground floor apartment. Like a hotel room but much nicer. Recently renovated. Within a warehouse with its own separate entrance, through a common corridor shared with other four dwellings. Our place is great ff you want to stay somewhere a little bit unique and enjoy a private place to rest and recover or use as a base to visit Melbourne. Set in a warehouse in the old industrial area of Kensington. We have tried to make the apartment homely and comfortable by making this a contemporary dwelling using natural surfaces and textures to blend the industrial and natural. 1 Queen bed and large bathroom with bathtub We take care in making sure you have a great experience, the apartment is kept very clean, and we supply you with the essentials and more for your convenience. (Note there is another apartment above this one so there is a little bit of noise transfer occasionally. So far we haven't had any issues or complaints. There is no more noise than in a normal apartment). Guest access Secure Studio ground floor apartment, with its own entrance on a common corridor. (corridor is shared with four other dwellings) Other things to note Parking is free on street- during the day can be harder but after 5 much easier to find. Most are 2hr from 7am till 5 . Great places to eat and drink around us: La Tortilleria: a Mexican restaurant a short walk from our place Double Dutch Bakery: Delicious bakery goods savories and sweets, of course great coffee. They owned by Rumble roasters so you can get fresh beans there too! Nubilum: the latest addition to the area, it is a distillery two doors down from our place Mama Le: is a Vietnamese fusion restaurant Within a short walk to Kensington you will also find lots of places, Kensington pub, cafes (try The Premises), at Clay Oven the pizza is superb, and lots more around the area Just to name a few, there is lots more around the area make sure you check it out.
