Our apartment is very bright (on the 6th floor with elevator). It is spacious, with a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms (one overlooking the inner courtyard and the other overlooking the street). Underground parking is available. Everything is within walking distance (Bellecour 20 minutes), by bike, tram, bus or metro (Saxe-Gambetta or Jean Macé). The neighborhood is very lively: restaurants, bars, small shops, parks, etc. The banks of the Rhône are not far away. The space The apartment is located in a very lively area: strollers, athletes, movie buffs and museum lovers, gourmets or lovers of local and organic products will be delighted! Children can enjoy the many nearby parks, the quays of the Rhône (with its swimming pool/kiddie pool) and the Parc de la Tête d'Or zoo. Three important things to know about the apartment: - the beds are futons (firm mattresses on which we have added mattress toppers for your comfort). - A double bed in the street-side bedroom. - A double bed + 1 bunk bed 1 place in the courtyard side bedroom. - we don't have a TV. - This is our main residence, do not expect hotel comfort (mismatched dishes, old furniture...), but it is very warm because it is alive ;) Linens are included in the rental. We ask that you leave the apartment clean, take out your trash and empty the dishwasher. Many events take place in Lyon: the famous Festival of Lights (weekend of December 8), the Nuits de Fourvière (music festival, theater, circus... in June/July), the Lumière festival (cinema, in October), the Nuits sonores (Ascension bridge in May), the Biennale of Contemporary Art and the Biennale of Dance. Guest access Metro, bus, train stations easily accessible! We have a parking space available in the basement. Other things to note Linens are included in the rental. On the other hand, we do not have housekeeping staff (this is our main residence and usually we will arrive just after your departure...), so we ask you to leave the apartment clean, take out your garbage and empty the dishwasher.
