Come be a guest in our cosy family home in Hamilton’s Kirkendall neighbourhood. Less than 5 minutes’ walk to shops and restaurants along Locke St. and close to parks and trails, McMaster, Mohawk and hospitals. You will stay in our basement guest suite with private entrance and its own kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Coffee, tea and homemade granola included! We live upstairs and have a long history of hosting. (**Please note that we have a young child, if you are sensitive to noise**). The space This air conditioned basement suite you will stay in is recently renovated, with new appliances and a private entrance. It includes a bedroom, living/dining room with office desk, a full kitchen and a bathroom. There is shared access to the outdoor patio. Coffee, tea and homemade granola are provided in the kitchen! Towels and soap in the bathroom. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the privately-accessed basement guest suite (excluding a furnace/storage room, which will be closed). Use of the backyard/patio is shared with hosts. Includes barbecue and fire pit. Free parking is available on the street at any time. Other things to note We are centrally located within the west end of Hamilton, not far from McMaster University, Mohawk College, McMaster Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and Downtown Hamilton / James Street. Other attractions in the region include the Royal Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery of Hamilton, hiking/cycling trails along the escarpment and waterfront and wineries in Niagara. Hamilton is located mid-way between Toronto and Niagara Falls and there are train/bus connections in both directions. We have a young child, who you will hear crying or running sometimes.** - On rare occasions, we may need to access the furnace/storage room through the basement for maintenance. If this happens, we will reach out to notify you in advance.
