Cavan Farm Retreat is a tranquil space nestled in the Cavan countryside. Surrounded by trees and fields, yet only a 20 minute drive to downtown Peterborough. The rustic charm of the property blends seamlessly with modern comforts of the home, providing guests with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a completely renovated interior, fully-equipped kitchen, and scenic views from every window, it promises a memorable getaway immersed in nature's beauty. The space Please make yourself at home during your stay! Relax in the open concept main floor on the large sectional couch, at the kitchen island equipped with stools, or at the rustic dining table. The lower living room tv is equipped with Netflix to catch up on your favourite shows. Outside you will find an entire bunkie house dedicated to games and a “chill zone”. A full sized ping pong table, air hockey table, “5 in 1” games table, and board games are among some of the activities to choose from. The true charm of our property is the outdoor space. Sit outside at any of the seating areas to enjoy the fresh air, or relax around the fire to enjoy time with family or friends. You will find trails along the tree line at the field’s edge. Enjoy the sounds of birds chirping- with the possibility of spotting a bunny or deer! Snowshoes are provided to enjoy the land in the winter season! A guidebook highlighting local restaurants and attractions is located in the kitchen.
