Description

There’s nothing like coming back from a day of exploring at Fundy National Park—just 25km to the gate—to a stargazing soak in the hot tub. Perched on a quiet hillside, we're embraced by trees on three sides with the creek running just across the road. Whether you're here to hike the rugged coast, chase waterfalls, hit the ATV trails, or just slow down with coffee on the deck, this is your space to unplug, recharge, and breathe in the fresh forest air. The space The Layout The cabin is set up perfectly for a couple’s getaway or a family of four. You’ll have two comfortable queen bedrooms, a full kitchen for cooking up local finds, and a cozy living spot with a Smart TV for movie nights. The Deck & Hot Tub The cabin is surrounded on three sides by trees on the side of a hill. It’s a very private spot for an evening soak in the hot tub or just sitting out with a coffee in the morning to listen to the sounds of nature. Work & Play If you need to get some hours in while you're here, we have high-speed Starlink. It’s a reliable setup for video calls, which makes it easy to knock out some work in the morning before heading to the park for the afternoon. A Few Highlights: • Private Hot Tub: Cleaned, maintained, and ready for you year-round. • Outdoor Shower: The best way to refresh after a hike (available Victoria Day through mid-October). • Location: We are a scenic 30-minute drive to the gates of Fundy National Park and just minutes from the Adair’s Wilderness Lodge trail system. If you need supplies, the breweries and shops in Sussex are only 15 minutes away. Fundy Trail Provincial Park and St Martin’s are also easily accessible. Creek Road is one of the ways to get to Fundy NP; light, daytime traffic should be expected. Guest access You’ll have the entire cabin and outdoor space to yourself. Other things to note The Water System & Conservation The cabin runs on a gravity-fed spring system. This means the water pressure is lower than what you’d find in the city, and the toilet can take 2–3 minutes to refill between flushes. • A heads-up for summer: New Brunswick is expecting another dry season. We’d appreciate it if you could be mindful of your water use to help ensure the spring stays healthy throughout the summer. There is plenty of drinking/cooking water provided on-site. Connectivity & Cell Service Cell service can be spotty out here, but we have high-speed Starlink. Wi-Fi calling usually works great—just be sure to check with your provider on how to enable it before you arrive. Like any rural spot, the internet can occasionally flicker during heavy storms, but it’s very reliable otherwise. Nature & The Elements • Bugs: It is the forest! Mosquitoes and black flies are part of the deal in the warmer months. We recommend bringing repellent and maybe a ThermaCell. (Just a quick request: please rinse off any bug spray before hopping in the hot tub to help us keep the water clear). • Power: We don't have a backup generator. Outages are rare, but they can happen during big storms. Check-in & Out To make sure there is enough time to get the cabin in order for the next guest, we’re unable to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thanks for understanding!
