Cozy Waterford Cabin with Hot Tub & Forest Views
Cozy Waterford Cabin with Hot Tub & Forest Views
Description
Adventure meets relaxation. After exploring Fundy National Park (only 25km to the gate), come home to a stargazing soak in the hot tub. Nestled on a quiet, wooded hillside with a creek just across the road, our space is the perfect basecamp. Hit the local ATV trails, chase nearby waterfalls, or simply slow down with coffee on the deck. Unplug, breathe in the fresh forest air, and recharge in comfort. We can't wait to host you! The space The cabin is set up perfectly for a couple’s getaway or a family of four. You’ll have two comfortable queen bedrooms, a full kitchen for cooking up local finds, and a cozy living spot with a Smart TV for movie nights. The Deck & Hot Tub The cabin is surrounded on three sides by trees on the side of a hill. It’s a very private spot for an evening soak in the hot tub or just sitting out with a coffee in the morning to listen to the sounds of nature. Work & Play If you need to get some hours in while you're here, we have high-speed Starlink. It’s a reliable setup for video calls, which makes it easy to knock out some work in the morning before heading to the park for the afternoon. A Few Highlights: • Private Hot Tub: Cleaned, maintained, and ready for you year-round. • Outdoor Shower: The best way to refresh after a hike (available Victoria Day through mid-October). • Wood Stove: The best way to stay cozy on a cool night. • Location: We are a scenic 30-minute drive to the gates of Fundy National Park and just minutes from the Adair’s Wilderness Lodge trail system. If you need supplies, the breweries and shops in Sussex are only 15 minutes away. Fundy Trail Provincial Park and St Martin’s are also easily accessible. Creek Road is one of the ways to get to Fundy NP; light, daytime traffic should be expected. Guest access You’ll have the entire cabin and outdoor space to yourself. Other things to note The Water System & Eco-Conservation The cabin embraces mindful living with a sustainable, gravity-fed spring system. - Because it’s a natural system, the water pressure is a bit gentler than city plumbing, and the toilet takes 1-2 minutes to refill between flushes. - Summer Care: To keep our beautiful local spring healthy during the dry season, we invite our guests to practice eco-friendly water conservation during showers. Don't worry about hydration, though—we provide plenty of drinking and cooking water on-site! Connectivity & Cell Service Unplug from the noise, but stay as connected as you want to be. - Staying Connected: While cell towers are sparse out here, we’ve got you covered with high-speed Starlink satellite internet. - Pro-Tip: Wi-Fi calling works wonderfully here! We highly recommend checking with your cellular provider to enable it on your phone before you arrive so you don't miss any phone calls to home. Like any true rural retreat, a heavy storm might cause a brief internet flicker, but it quickly bounces back. Nature & The Elements You are truly immersing yourself in the beautiful New Brunswick forest! - Forest Friends: Mosquitoes and black flies love the woods just as much as we do during the warmer months. We recommend packing your favorite repellent or a ThermaCell to keep your outdoor time comfortable. - Hot Tub Etiquette: To keep our hot tub crystal clear and inviting for your entire stay, we kindly ask that you rinse off any bug spray or lotions before diving in. - Power: While power outages are rare, they can occasionally happen during major coastal storms. We like to think of it as the perfect excuse to light some candles, unplug, and enjoy the quiet. It’s helpful to note that there is no generator on site. Check-in & Out - Timing: To ensure our cleaning team has ample time to make the cabin absolutely spotless and perfect for your arrival, our check-in (3pm) and check-out (10am) times are set in stone. Thank you so much for helping us maintain a high standard of cleanliness for every guest!
