Spacious, private room close to CBD
Description
There’s space to work and relax, as well as sleep, in this spacious master bedroom. Featuring a desk and a cosy reading nook with armchair and bookcase, there’s also a large built-in wardrobe and heaps of storage if you come for a longer stay. Enjoy easy access to Ballarat CBD, tourist and cultural attractions, hospitals, and other amenities from this comfortable, centrally located home. The space I call it “The Wombat Hole” — my snug, comfortable retreat tucked in at the very edge of Ballarat’s CBD. Though it’s just metres from cafes and shops, it has a sense of privacy and calm, with a surprisingly big backyard. The house is not-too-old, not-too-new, recently renovated with fantastic living spaces that give a real sense of home. The style is bit eclectic, with pops of colour, art, textiles and lots of books and plants. Outside, a covered and shaded patio area looks out on a permaculture garden, where Clancy, my tabby cat, likes to climb the fruit trees and roll around in the veggie beds. Guest access We’re walking distance from the train station and even closer to the Little Bridge Street bus interchange. If you come by car, there’s off-street parking, and if you have a bike there’s secure undercover parking for that too. During your stay I live here full time, and work from home (I have a studio outside of the house itself) so you’ll see me around a lot. Please ask any questions, and feel free to hang out and socialise in the common spaces (living room, meals area, kitchen and outdoors.) I love to share a meal and would be delighted to give you some tips for where to find things in Ballarat. Other things to note My home is an LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-friendly space.
