Home comforts include 3 very comfy European 6 foot beds (linked singles), 1 small double and 2 singles all with IKEA bedding in fresh blue and whites Electric blankets, hot water bottles, extra pillows and fleece throws Living areas: a very spacious open plan living/lounging/chef kitchen and dining area make a great space for everyone to be very comfortable together. It can also be separated with a feature sliding barn door to create 2 sitting areas: with 52inch HDTV. Heating: Central heating/hot water is on in the morning and then fully controlled by you for your comfort. Large basket of logs, kindling, matches are provided for the woodburning stove, always set and ready to create a great cosy ambience. Chef equipped kitchen: peelers to piping bags, dishwasher, Neff electric induction hob and oven, large cookware, food processor, blender, toastie/waffle machine,filter coffee,filter water tap, microwave and cooking basics. Lots of matching table and glassware even when the dishwasher is full. Decor & furnishings: contemporary coastal: fresh blue/white with sunny ochre. Ambient lighting, good reading lights, coastal art and leafy living plants provide a soft, calm sanctuary to spend R's to Relax, Recharge, Reconnect and Reset Garden: a private, enclosed south 'sun trap' garden with a furnished patio and loungers (Easter to end Sept) to capture sun from breakfast to BBQ. Cushions and throws for garden furniture. Outside tap to clean mucky boots and bikes. Front garden: Seating to enjoy a coffee tucked into the front garden, looking up at the forest, the Mournes and Slieve Donard. It is a 5 min. walk to a beautiful sandy beach(bring your own beach towels) promenade, play parks, pubs and lots of excellent eataries. Hang up your apron and enjoy Macken's Pub, Restaurant and Beer Garden, Olive Bizzare Vintage Tea rooms, Villa Vinci Italian and Toscano pizzeria...all excellent for food, service and £. Golfers: 5 min. drive to the famous Royal County Down golf course, beside Mourne Golf club. Hill walkers: 100 metres up the quiet cul de sac there's a path into the forest: turn right for Tollymore forest or left for Donard forest, the harbour and Slieve Donard, with lots of tracks and trails and panoramic views of the Irish sea.
