Welcome to Casa Belan! Casa Belan is an eco-farm and glamping accommodation in Sober, the heart of the beautiful Ribeira Sacra in Galicia, northwest Spain. Our small-scale glamping offers a unique camping experience for all ages amidst our ecological food production, wine and fruit orchard. Your glamping tent is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort, including private sanitary facilities. Here you are surrounded by the beautiful nature and landscape of the Ribeira Sacra. The space Our fully equipped glamping tents are equipped with comfortable beds, bed linen and towels, a dining table and chairs, a small fridge and kitchen utensils, mosquito nets and a private terrace. Bathroom: Each tent has access to its own complete private bathroom located in a sanitary unit on the campsite. This Glamping tent is suitable for 2 adults with the possibility to create a sleeping place for up to 2 children. A baby crib is available upon request. The natural cotton tent is designed to be comfortable in all weather conditions; nice and airy during the long hot summer days and pleasantly warm during the night. The shared outdoor kitchen offers a wonderful place to cook, barbecue, have a drink, eat together and meet others while enjoying the beautiful landscape. Upon request, and for a fee, we can offer you a delicious breakfast with local products. From your terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views over the hilly landscape of the Ribeira Sacra, eat fresh produce from our garden or enjoy one of the many local wines from this region. Just outside the village of Sober (with all amenities within walking distance) and surrounded by charming hamlets and the beautiful nature and landscapes of the Ribeira Sacra, Casa Belan is a great starting point to discover the surroundings and visit the many viewpoints and tourist attractions of the region. Guest access We have 3 Bell tents of different sizes and offer space for couples, families, friends and small groups. At Casa Belan, we make your stay as comfortable as possible; - In our outdoor kitchen and barbecue area, you can prepare your own meals. You can enjoy these together on the communal terrace or on your private terrace of your tent. - Our sanitary unit with private bathrooms is equipped with toilet, shower, sink and mirror. - The fireplace is the best place to enjoy the long summer evenings and clear starry nights - There are play areas, toys and games for children - Shady cozy places to relax, read a book or enjoy a traditional siesta. You can also choose to spend a wonderful afternoon in the municipal swimming pool of Sober, which is less than a kilometer away and is open in the months of July and August. We offer guests fresh and local produce, including homemade wine, jam and fresh produce from the garden. You are always welcome to come and take a look or lend a hand in the garden. Planting, harvesting, watering, weeding are all daily activities on the farm, and you can participate without any experience. In return, you can learn more about our ecological farm and you can bring some fresh products for your meal, straight from the garden. This is also a very fun and adventurous activity for and with children. Other things to note We ask you to provide your passport details before arrival. Smoking is strictly forbidden in the accommodation and the common area. Smoking outdoors must be handled very carefully due to the fire hazard. Always be very careful with open flames and use the designated place (fireplace and barbecue) only in consultation with the host. It is forbidden to host more guests than are registered. Additional persons must always be reported to the host. Nearby: Casa Belan is just a stone's throw away from the village of Sober. The village center offers various bars and restaurants, two small supermarkets and the tourist information center. Every two weeks, there is a local market, and throughout the year, there are various village festivals and celebrations. The municipal swimming pool of Sober is less than a kilometer away (open in July and August). Rio Sil, Cabe and Rio Miño The beautiful canyons of Rio Sil and Rio Miño with their great viewpoints are both 10-15 minutes' drive away. There are several places where you can rent kayaks or canoes, or you can take a boat trip to admire the huge cliff walls and the traditional vineyards on the steep slopes from the water. Monforte de Lemos is less than a 15-minute drive from Casa Belan. This charming town is steeped in history and culture and is known for its medieval castle that dominates the skyline of the center. Here you will find many local restaurants and bars, boutiques and experience the real authentic life and gastronomy of this part of Galicia.
