Stargazing dome on a farm (The Raven)!

Enjoy the magic of the stars, northern lights and nature! This unique stay is on our 105yr old family farm. Come experience something beautiful as we revive our family farm into a special retreat. We have 3 geodesic domes ready to welcome you! Your glamping experience includes a cozy queen size bed, clear sky dome, wood stove, private hammock for 2 and large deck to enjoy the outdoors! +more We now have a sauna, firepit, bathroom, place to shower and a shelter with BBQ... all included! The space The Raven dome is our most private dome, nestled a bit further into the trees down a small hill. It's the only one with a private 2 person hammock. There are privacy curtains but not really needed;) We provide wood and starting kit w/guide for the stove. We have wine glasses, hot and cold mugs, a few hot beverage items, games, a serious flashlight, umbrella, extra blankets and filtered water. The bedding is 100% cotton and no harsh chemicals used in cleaning any bedding or the dome. There's a John! (Bathroom house) Happily providing a flush toilet and hot water sink. The building is heated when needed. There are outlets inside and outside The John for use to charge electronics. We have a sauna! Very excited to have this feature for those cool evenings or mornings. Guidelines with signed waiver required. Communal firepit available, subject to local fire restrictions. Wood is provided as are roasting sticks upon request. BBQ is available free of charge. Bring your supplies:) We supply tongs and a flipper. Guest access Please ask if you require more supplies as the wood shed is restricted and other supplies are stored elsewhere. Our outdoor sauna holds 6-8 people and is for communal use, everyone is welcome, however guidelines MUST be pre-agreed and confirmed with host prior to use. New walking path is open for use, closed toe shoes are recommended! BBQ area is communal, you are welcome to use it. **Private shower available upon request. ** No unregistered guests ** Other things to note This is a glamping experience! Think camping but your site is set up and we're providing a few luxury comforts. Please consider the following: It can be cold at night so preparation may include extra socks and layers for sleeping. (mitts, a toque, raingear and boots are good essentials) It can also get quite hot in the daytime, be sure to plan accordingly and to check the weather :) In our beautiful rustic bathroom (The John), there is a flushing toilet and hot water sink. There are also outlets inside and outside the building for use. We have filtered water and a kettle placed inside to help yourself. Hot water bottles available. Wood will be provided for the stove. Please note, the dome is not preheated unless arranged on extra cold nights. 🩶Added service items available now🩶 ➤Our brand new barrel sauna is ready for use! ✺✺Waiver must be agreed to in advance, and all RULES strictly enforced✺✺ ►No intoxication►No drinks►No food►No shoes ➤Propane BBQ - free usage. We appreciate you keeping it clean after use for other guests interested. We supply standard bbq tools only. ➤Firepit-communal. Wood is provided. We have roasting sticks available at no cost. There is no wifi, but there is cellular service. There are touch lamps in the domes. We provide a flashlight however we recommend bringing a headlamp if you have one. There is a solar fan that is effective in circulating the air however, it will not feel like a fan blowing on you. Please also consider that you are in nature and flies, spiders, moths, wasps, ants, mosquitos, etc can all make their way into the dome whether its through the window or the open door. It's seasonal! There can be lots, there can be none. Most are not bothersome. We do a bug check prior to checkin. If there are excessive creatures of any kind, please advise us. This is an active farm and there are hazards throughout, such as barbed wire, uneven ground, sticks and logs, wild animals, etc You are welcome to explore the farm. All buildings are restricted, please refrain from entering. There's plenty of forested area. We recommend not to go deep in the forest due to hazards such as steep cliffs and wildlife. Important: we are not responsible for any illness or injuries due to hazards throughout the land or use of any of our facilities.
