The Cozy Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Nestled in 5 acres of woods this cozy cabin has everything you need! Close to many wineries and hiking trails. Great for parents who have children at SIUC- we are only 20 minutes away from Carbondale! Right on the Shawnee Wine Trail. Sleeps 6. Dogs welcome- 2 dogs max. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front porch. Splash in the creek on the property and explore through the woods or enjoy a bonfire around the outdoor fire pit. The space This tiny cabin has an open concept floor plan with a living room, breakfast nook and kitchen on main floor. On the main floor there is also a full bathroom, laundry and a bedroom with a queen size bed. The loft has a ladder upstairs and has 3 beds- a full and 2 twins. The ladder does not come off it is permanent and part of the structure. The loft is a great place for kids to play! Front porch has plenty of outdoor seating! Guest access Guests have access to entire cabin except for 2 locked storage cabinets. Guests have access to all 5 acres of land, a fire pit,charcoal grill, front porch, and creek access. Other things to note We are right along Shawnee Wine Trail with plenty of wineries within driving distance. Plenty of hiking trails near by! Our favorite is Giant city which is within driving distance. Close to the town of Anna with restaurants and shopping. No parties. Please be respectful, even though you can’t see our neighbors we do have them. No smoking inside or on front porch. Please do not touch, sit on, climb, or mess with the solar panel in any fashion. Damage to these may result in a fee. If you allow dogs on furniture please put down a furniture cover located in the tv stand storage. No need to pick up after your dog unless it’s in the rock area or foot bridge. Feel free to explore the wooded land of our property but be advised there maybe poison ivy.
