The space Home to myself, dogs Fang and Tilly, 18 chickens, 2 Roosters, orphan/rescue animals, Uisce the cow, cats Mingus & Herbie, Lambikins the sheep, lambs Rambo & Lillith, the 3 bedroom 1 bathroom barn shed is light filled and spacious. As the Blue Barn Nornalup is far off the beaten track it is very quiet, all you will hear is frogs, birds, chooks, the ocean at night. Tilly, the Maremma, will bark loudly if there are predators and Uisce, the resident calf, will moo if she is hungry! Upstairs there is a balcony positioned so you can see the setting sun all year round and of course don't forget the magic of the stars on a clear night. It can get windy at times with the sea breeze so pack a jumper for when the nights are cool. I am an artist and the barn is filled with art, mainly abstract and charcoal undraped life drawings. Embrace the off-grid charm of this remote coastal bush property, where encounters with native animals, bugs, insects, flies, and a touch of hay and dust, both inside and outside, are all part of the off-grid rural experience. You must be an animal lover to want to stay here. So if all this sounds like a place you would love to be then I look forward to having you stay. Guest access You have full access to the house and yoga studio apart from the master bedroom. During your stay I will be around most of the time tending the garden and animals if you need me. If you are walking the Bibbulmun Track I can pick you up locally and drop you off with prior arrangement. Other things to note Upstairs is a yoga studio where we have yoga classes twice a day Wednesday 9AM and 6PM and Friday at 9AM which you are welcome to book into a class via the Humphrey Yogart Yoga & Art Studio site. Classes are $20. As it is a big shed the upstairs can get a bit noisy when people are arriving and leaving for class, and as sound travels upstairs as well, during classes I ask that my guests keep noise to a minimum. You are welcome to use the studio for your own yoga practice when the studio is free. I am a Remedial massage therapist and you can book in for a massage during your stay.
