Duplex in the Latin Quarter.
Description
Duplex of 180 m2 on three floors in a family building, listed as a historic monument of 1489. Our main residence consists of 4 bedrooms and a mezzanine, the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. Ideal for families with children. The mezzanine has a large double bed and a bathroom with bathtub. On the third floor, there are 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. You can enjoy the small garden/terrace for lunch outside. The space This is an atypical and cozy apartment with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove and the personalized decoration of a main house. The large 40 m² living room is extended by the dining room and an open kitchen, the size of which is unusual in Paris. It opens directly onto the Garden/terrace through a large glass roof where it is possible to eat up to 6 people. A separate toilet is available. The very old design of the building, built before Christopher Columbus discovered America, makes it possible to keep a great freshness inside, even in the event of a heat wave. The mezzanine (our bedroom), has a large double bed (160 x 190) and a rest area with a hammock ideal for a good nap. It includes a private bathroom with bathtub, washing machine and dryer. The upper floor has 4 bedrooms, two of which have a double bed, a bathroom (walk-in shower) and a separate toilet. Guest access The entire home is accessible. We just keep a small enclosed room to store our personal belongings Other things to note The apartment is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Notre Dame Cathedral and the Sorbonne are a 2-minute walk away. The place is very well connected by public transport. Direct train from Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly. Direct lines from Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and Gare d'Austerlitz. The RER station Saint-Michel Notre-Dame allows you to reach the Palace of Versailles in about 30 minutes.
