Just 17.5 miles away is Lake Windermere and 14.5 miles away in Coniston with plenty of water-based activities to try. Upon entering this quirky cottage, you will fall in love with the unique layout and homely feel. The lounge offers a great space for the family to enjoy a great night in with a two sofas, an armchair, and Smart TV. In the hall, we have the main bathroom with a shower over bath and WC which has been tastefully designed. On the lower ground floor, we have the fantastic kitchen/diner which offers a great space for cooking up a storm and enjoying some family cooking time. There is an island with two bar stools, a gas range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. There is also a space perfect for reading a book or for the kids to chill while you’re making a meal. Up to the first floor, we have a double bedroom and a small double. Then finally onto the second floor, you find the master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. The enclosed garden is a gem with a lovely patio area, ideal for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine, plus a lawned area for the kids or dogs to enjoy.
