The space La Villa d'Amis is located in Calamandrana Alta in Piedmont, with wide views of the rolling wine landscape of Monferrato. Welcome to our guesthouse with 4 apartments, 3 of which are rental apartments. Accommodates 16 guests at full rental. The Dolcetto and La Vigna apartments share a common entrance with separate lockable doors in the hallway. The Barbera apartment has its own entrance. The apartment Dolcetto is located on the ground floor with 2 bedrooms - there are floor fans in both bedrooms, at the end of the apartment you will find a living room and kitchenette in one, with access to the garden. The kitchen has a small kitchenette with everything you need to cook simple meals. The living room is equipped with a small flat screen that you can hook up with your devices. A lounge group that gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy a good meal or a movie. Parking for one car is included with this apartment. There are many outdoor areas, and you can choose to sit on the grass terrace or use one of the many patios around the house. The pool is an "above ground" pool, and is open from 01.05-01.10 The pool (732 × 366 × 132 cm), perfect for cooling off on warm days. ~ Practical information ~ Distances by car – Calamandrana Basso: 2–3 minutes (bar/café, baker, butcher, small grocery store, pizzeria, pharmacy) – Saturday market in the square of Calamandrana – Nice Monferrato: 6–8 minutes – Canelli: 8–10 minutes – Asti: approx. 20 minutes – Alba: approx. 25 minutes Car is recommended due to steep road up to the village. E-bike works great for active guests. Experiences nearby – Vineyard visits and wine tasting – Small town life and local markets – Bike tours and hiking trails between the vineyards - Truffle season in autumn – Explore the historic cities of Asti and Alba, with wine bars, truffle markets and charming piazzas Outdoor area and security The plot is sloping and has some open sections without a fence. The place is therefore best suited for adults and families with older children. Grapes: Barbera d 'Asti and Dolcetto Autumn - End of September/early October Table grapes: Moscato - to be harvested in August/September Fruit: Cherry, field strawberries, peach, plums, apricot, figs, apples and kiwi. Guests can join the work in the hobby garden if they wish Guest access All guests have access to all outdoor areas and share these, there are still dedicated market terraces, balconies and terraces to the individual apartments. In the "garage" you will find a long table where you can enjoy meals and late evenings with wine and good conversations. Other things to note The host at La Villa d 'Amis - Anita is a passionate and dedicated host who wants to give her guests a unique and unforgettable experience. In July 2022, she bought this beautiful house right in the heart of the Piedmont region and has since refurbished and made it a comfortable and cozy guest house. She has put a lot of time and effort into making every corner of the house special and personal, and goes out of her way to make sure guests feel at home. Anita loves to share her knowledge of the area and give recommendations on the best places to visit, eat and drink. She is always available to help and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Anita is happy to book wine tastings directly with the small producers for you, so you are assured an open door and a wine tasting only a real wine farmer can give you! The dog Tro lives with her.
