Decamerone, Boijl

This comfortable detached vacation home, with a large garden with privacy, is located in a very quiet small park (± 30 cottages) in the beautiful landscape of De Friese Wouden, on the outskirts of the village of Boijl (870 inhabitants). The sunny garden provides privacy and features 2 terraces. Nearby are the Drentse Koloniën van Weldadigheid (Unesco World Heritage) with beautiful villages such as Frederiksoord (Museum De Proefkolonie). You can enjoy hiking, biking and swimming in the Aekingermeer. The space For the atmosphere of the cottage: see the photos. Layout: hallway, bathroom with shower and toilet, living room (with sliding doors to terrace) + open kitchen, guest room with bunk bed (size for those who can't decide) and 2 single duvets. NOTE: THAT BUNK BED IS 120 CM WIDE! On the 1st floor: landing with workplace (desk), large bedroom with double bed (NOTE: 180x200 cm; can also be used as 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm) and spacious closets. Bedding: in the master bedroom there is a choice of 1 large duvet (2x2 m) or 2 small (120 x 200 cm). They are on the beds or in the bedroom closet on the right (at the bottom). If you do not want to bring your own bedding and bath towels, you can rent them for EUR 10 per person. If you want to rent, please indicate for which of the beds. Kitchen towels are provided as standard. Accessories: washing machine (in the hall); in the kitchen, gas stove (4 hobs) + electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee maker (filters), hand blender, toaster, sandwich maker. In the living/dining room dining table + chairs for 4 people, TV (flat screen), DVD player, sound box. There is WiFi and there are several board games. In the hallway, there is a washing machine and an iron + ironing board. Separate storage room with a women's and a men's bike ("everyday", with 3 gears); garden (with privacy, 480 m2), with 2 terraces, garden furniture for 4 people, parking for 1 car. 2nd car can be parked in the nearby parking lot of the park. The house can only be booked for tourist purposes. Guest access Guests can use the entire home and all its attributes, except for one of the bedroom cabinets. Other things to note You can bring one small dog, cost: €10 per booking. So when booking, clearly indicate if a dog is coming along. Dogs must ALWAYS be kept on a leash throughout the park. If you do not want to bring your own bed linen and bath towels, you can rent them for EUR 10 per person. If you want to rent, please indicate for which of the beds. Kitchen towels are provided as standard. If available, the neighboring house (no. 15) with adjoining garden can also be rented (via Airbnb), e.g. for family reunions, etc. In the village of Boijl itself is a lovely large sauna: "Het Friese Woud" (2 pairs of slippers are available in the cottage, in the hallway – also look in the "Slippers" chest).
