Our 8 stories building called Amador Heights is located on Amador hill, on a private lane bordered with swaying palm trees, and exotic vegetation that was planted by the Pacific Southern Command, since this priviledged area was chosen as the residence of high ranking officers. At 7 minutes walking distance, you can reach the Balboa Yacht Club where you can enjoy the sea breeze sipping a cold beer by the small marina where you can take a boat to the Taboga island. Next to this place you can find the Carlton hotel and the TGI restaurant where the breakfast is served from 7 to 10 am. At 5 minutes ride by car, or 20 mn walk, when coming to Panama, a place one should not miss is the Amador causeway, and its marina with the view to the bay of Panama City. Many bars and restaurants offer fresh sea food and tipical panamanian cuisine. At the entrance of the causeway, the new Biodiversity Museum designed by the world renowned architect Frank Gehry will soon open. Public transportation in Panama is not very developped today. The metro is under construction and at peak hours the traffic is terrible. Now Uber is available in Panama City and is working very well. The rates are very attractive and drivers are also available in english. They provide also drivers to visit Panama City. Go to Taboga Island at 30 mn by ferry from the Balboa Yacht Club at 10 mn walking distance from the apartment. You will enjoy a nice day on the beach. If you stay at nights we recommend the hotel Vereda Tropical or more sophisticated the Villa Caprichosa. Nearest restaurants are TGI Fridays and Balboa Yacht Club. More restaurants are at the end of the Amador Causeway where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city skyline at night.
