Crow Hop: Ithaca Area Fingerlakes Treat

Crow Hop is a rural retreat just minutes- as the crow flies!- from all things Fingerlakia. Colleges, Lakes, cideries and creameries and any number of spectacular falls and gorge hikes are within half an hour of the cabin, even by car! Brand new beds, kitchen, bathrooms, and decks— plus a campfire circle ready for s’mores and firelight conversation- make Crow Hop a pleasure. Artists and musicians will find a tuned baby grand, plus whimsical murals and original art to delight ears and eyes. The space Crow Hop is a comfortable, lived-in space. The outdoor space is just terrific, and well lit for evening entertainment. The cabin is under 7 miles from Ithaca College and less than 10 miles from Cornell. There are two new king size beds…one upstairs and one downstairs. There’s also a new and very comfortable queen mattress on the floor of our upstairs alcove that accommodates a couple very well…although the mattress also folds into a low couch and serves as seating in front of our “gaming monitor.” We have Roku there, but feel free to bring your own gaming set up. There’s also another small bedroom with a twin bed. Additionally, we have a nice single camping cot with a little mattress and an ottoman that folds out into a single bed. SO: Depending on the number of adults or couples versus singles or children, this cabin might accommodate anywhere from six to nine people, depending on individual needs or expectations. IMPORTANT: this is a rural retreat and is itself rustic, despite new beds, bathrooms and kitchen. The laundry room has both a washer and dryer in good working condition. Guest access We have a gravel drive with space for several vehicles. We have walkways to both the front door and side entry door. There is a full basement that is not for guest use. Other things to note Both bathrooms are new. One bathroom is downstairs across from a king size bed bedroom; it has a single sink and and combination tub and shower with glass sliding doors. The other bathroom is upstairs; it has a double sink bathroom with a shower and shower bench. The kitchen is also new, with a duel fuel gas stove and oven.
