Archie’s Attic A pretty little rural loft space

Situated in the Peak District, within the small village of Earl Sterndale. This is a peaceful little space to unwind and get away from it all. Offering easy access to numerous walks and national beauty spots, providing a great getaway for walkers and cyclists. This Self contained loft room is in the area above an outdoor building within our garden, having a private entrance. It has its own garden space with barbecue to relax and enjoy. PLEASE NOTE: The village does not have a shop or pub The space Loft space above outdoor building, which is self contained. Accessed by a stone staircase. There is parking space on site. Open plan space, with separate shower room. This is a loft space and has a sloping ceiling, but has plenty of height in the middle area to move about freely. Small kitchenette with sink, microwave, mini fridge, toaster and kettle. There is one window and a small window in the door, therefore direct sunlight into the attic can be limited. One double bed, corner sofa. 32" TV with freeview. WIFI. Table and chairs and electric heater. Shower room offers electric shower, toilet and sink. This is an internal room and has no window. Outdoor lawned area, with table, chairs and BBQ, (fuel not provided). Guest access Entire loft space and garden area to side of building. Access. gained via lock box. Not suitable for children or those with mobility difficulties due to the stone step entrance. Other things to note Other things to note The small village of Earl Sterndale does not have a village shop or pub. The nearest shop is in Longnor which is 2 miles away and sells basic supplies, there is also a Post Office/deli, a fish and chip shop and the Cheshire cheese pub. Other pubs close by include: The Pack Horse Inn, at Crowdecote which is 1.5 miles away and the Royal Oak, Hurdlow is 2.5 miles away. There are several other pubs in the surrounding villages although a little further afield. Buxton is the closest town at around 5 miles away, offering more shops and a greater choice of food spots. Archie’s Attic provides a comfortably equipped place to stay for 2 people. We provide bed linen for the bed only and towels. Mobile Phone signal is limited - EE offers the best coverage in the area, however WIFI calling is available. Bike Storage available upon request, although this is at the owners own risk.
