The New Denmark Park House

Welcome to The New Denmark Park House, a beautifully renovated 1915 Foursquare home that blends century-old character with today's modern comforts. Located in Albert Lea's celebrated "Blue Zone" community, you are steps away from Fountain Lake & a nostalgic park, walking distance to some of the best local spots-including an ice cream shop and neighborhood cafe that is very popular with the locals! The porch is the best spot for morning coffee. The space The New Denmark Park has much to offer- Along with a warm and welcoming feeling, it features great views, beautiful wood work, hard wood floors, and a bright and airy kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you may need to cook meals for a weekend get away or an extended stay. There is an island that seats four or enjoy your meals at the dining room table. The kitchen has a Duo Keurig coffee maker with an assortment of coffees available. Relax on the oversize sofa while you enjoy views of the park or watch your favorite movie on Roku TV. There is a comfy rocker/recliner with plenty of pillows and throws. The bedrooms and bathroom are located on the second floor. The larger bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet, and Roku TV. The second bedroom has one queen and a smaller walk in closet. There are extra linens, pillows, and blankets located in the larger closet. The bathroom features a gorgeous claw foot tub. There is a shower with great water pressure and a variety of shower head settings. Please note: Our bathroom features a classic shower-in-tub set up. A covered porch off the front of the house offers lovely views of the park, lake, and the walking path. It is a wonderful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or to relax after a long day. Guest access The entire home is yours for the duration of your stay. The key less entry code will be sent to you at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. The code is for the front door of the house. Other things to note Both the bedrooms and the bathroom are located on the 2nd floor, plus there are steps leading up to the house. The washer and dryer are in the basement. This is an older home and the basement is very clean but has not refinished You may park in the private drive or on the street in front of the house. If you choose to use the private drive, please park parallel to the side door due to the slope of the driveway. There is room for two cars in the driveway . Vehicles will be have to be parked one behind the other.
