Sleeping 10 to 12 guests Hacklers Hill by Yorkshire Escapes is a newly renovated holiday home beautifully positioned on the edge of the village of Dacre, 11 miles from Harrogate,  with stunning views over Nidderdale Valley.  The house has 4 double bedrooms, a sofa bed in a 5th bedroom/tv room with a Railway Carriage with double bedroom, kitchen and shower.  Wheelchair accessible, dog friendly and Hot tub available. The Royal Oak in Dacre is a mile away and within walking distance. The space Hacklers Hill is a wonderful newly renovated holiday home on the edge of the village of Dacre, 11 miles from Harrogate and 5 miles from Pateley Bridge, with stunning views over Nidderdale Valley.  The house sleeps up to 12 guests with 4 double bedrooms, sitting room with a sofa bed that can be made up into a double and a separate Railway Carriage in the garden with double bedroom and ensuite. Guests enter the house into the entrance hall leading through to the brand new maple kitchen with fitted units, gas range cooker, fridge, dishwasher and marble tops, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and seating at the breakfast bar.  This leads through to the open plan sitting room/dining room with large L shaped sofa, log burner and floor to ceiling  glass sliding doors to the terrace and onto the garden.  There is a large dining table and seating for 12 and again large sliding glass doors to the surrounding terrace with outdoor seating.  The dining area leads into a snug with television and comfy sofas.  The entrance hall has a utility area with washing machine and dryer leading to downstairs cloakroom with shower and room to hang coats and outdoor shoes. Most of the ground floor is wheelchair accessible including a ground floor double bedroom with double bifolding doors leading to a sitting room with sofa bed that can be made up as a double bed or as a sitting room with smart television.  There is a downstairs wheelchair accessible shower room with a seat, sink and w.c. The wheelchair accessible doors are all 900mm wide and the only door downstairs that is not is the wheelchair friendly is the small sitting room leading from the dining room. The house has a large wrap around terrace with glass panels and outdoor seating, hot tub and an Egg BBQ. There is a large lawned garden and large tarmac area with ample parking for up to 10 cars, a pay electric charging point, plus a locked building if required for bicycles.  Stairs lead up to the first floor with 3 double bedrooms all with super king beds that are zip and link so can be made up either as super kings or singles and each bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom. Please check bed formations under Other Things To Note as there is the default of 2 super kings, 2 twins, sofa bed as sofa and double bed in railway carriage. This is the default and cannot be changed within 2 weeks of guests stay so please do let us know on booking how you would like them made up. Thank you. Railway Carriage  - this is above the cottage with far reaching views over Nidderdale Valley with a double bed, table and chairs, kitchen and shower room, terrace with outdoor furniture. There is also a hobbit log burner in the Railway Carriage. The Royal Oak in Dacre and Wellington in Darley are both a mile away and within walking distance of the house. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and surrounding gardens and Railway Carriage. Other things to note Large wrap around terrace with seating, hot tub overlooking a lawned garden. 4 super king bedrooms that can be made into doubles or twins, please request upon booking. Sofa Bed in separate sitting room can be made into a double bed, please request on booking Railway Carriage in the garden with double bedroom, shower room, kitchen, table and chairs and hobbit wood burner DEFAULT BED FORMATION Please note that the bedrooms are always made as the default below unless change requested upon booking or before 2 weeks of check in. Within 2 weeks we cannot change the bed formation. 2 super kings bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, sofa bed made up as a sofa, double bed in Railway Carriage is the default formation. 2 dogs allowed at £40 per dog per stay The Royal Oak in Dacre and the Wellington in Darley are both within walking distance and a mile from the house.
