It is lit by 7 small windows opening onto 4 orientations. you will benefit from a private terrace facing south, with a small summer lounge and sunbed. the tower is in a property entirely enclosed by stone walls. hiking and mountain biking routes nearby The space On the ground floor, you have an open-plan room with a kitchenette: microwave - fridge with a small freezer compartment - ceramic hob - Nespresso coffee machine - kettle - traditional coffee maker - small raclette grill - a round table with 4 chairs and a double sofa bed that can accommodate an adult or a child. The sofa bed's mattress was changed in 2024, but using the sofa bed requires pushing the table and chairs aside in the evening for the third bed. It's important to keep this in mind for a stay of several days. The photos help you discover the place. A panoramic balcony overlooks the Grand Colombier massif facing east, and a large window faces south and overlooks a private park on the property. On the first floor, a bedroom with a 140 cm bed opens directly onto the roof structure, which is lit by spotlights. There is a flat-screen TV with DTT reception in the room. There is an adjoining small bathroom with a sink and shower. Sheets and towels are provided free of charge at no extra cost. We just ask that you leave it clean when you check out and fold the linen. Fiber optic Wi-Fi. Very good cell phone coverage. Heating is provided by a condensing gas boiler. There are radiators on each floor and in the small bathroom. You can adjust the temperature with a thermostat. Everything is perfectly explained upon your arrival. In summer, we provide a fan during periods of intense heat, because the tower's four-sided orientation allows for very good ventilation. On the other hand, it is important to understand that you are in the middle of nature and in the countryside, so there is a rustic side to take into account. While we keep a reasonable price per night and do not charge for cleaning or the supply of sheets or towels, and while we provide the basic necessities in the kitchen, do not expect super luxury. Some people ask us for air conditioning, to not hear the sound of the fountain, or to escape the insects at night in the summer! We can't fix that... Guest access You can park in front of the tower. Private parking. All shops are a ten-minute drive away. Virieu-le-Grand train station offers a direct TER (regional train) connection to Lyon; it is a 1-hour walk and a 30-minute bike ride away. Other things to note we will provide you with a list of all on-site amenities, restaurants, landmarks, and hiking maps. Hiking trails start from Belmont village. The village of Belmont is very quiet. In 2025, our hosts told us that the locals gave them an excellent welcome. you can reach the lake of Aix les Bains, on the beach and port of Conjux in less than 30 minutes, the Canal de Savières and the village of Chanaz. for bike lovers, the great Colombier is nearby. you can store your bikes in our property safely. Bike rentals are available: mountain bikes at Les Plans d'Hotonnes, and road bikes at the Chanzaz ski resort.
