Please read all details fully & confirm requirements in ‘Other details to note’. Welcome to the house my great-great-grandpa built; I’m the 5th generation owner! It’s a bit 80s but full of original charm; coal bunker long gone!. I’m Airbnb'ing to help modernize it. Three rooms are available, w/ housekeeper living on-site. This room has: double bed & soft memory foam mattress, desk/vanity unit & chair, bedside lamps, mains sockets & a comfy chair. Guests must be 21+; ID maybe required. The space Each room is kept simple and comfy: Double bed, bedside cupboards with lamps*, USB and QI charging in some, table or dresser, chair (one is an electric recliner) plus a frame for towels, to hang clothes & place shoes and bags. Guest access In the porch are 3 blue key safes. Each is numbered. Use the key safe code to access safe: Front door key (purple fob), room key (coloured to your room) and back door key. Front door locks when closed. If the door is double locked: rotate key, pull down on handle and then rotate key again. Rotate key clockwise. No Airbnb 'services' are to be ordered to my home. This will be considered a breach of house rules and stay maybe terminated. Takeaway deliveries etc. are fine! During your stay I'll be about some of the time. Knock on door at the top of the stairs or message in app (app can be slow). Other things to note Unauthorised guests: Due to inconsiderate guests allowing strangers into my home all guests are required to confirm; the guest booking is the guest staying (no 3rd parties) and confirm no other guest(s) will arrive or be invited in. I have started fining people for breach of trust and abuse of my hospitality; including unauthorised overstaying. . (Sad to have to have this stated here!) Parking: There is on street parking only, if available: obviously I can't guarantee it but there's usually spaces. Sunday parking is free. A permit is required from 8am to 8pm Mon to Sat (from 6pm to 8am on single yellow lines is free). There are 3 free bays in Rochford Rd (except between 2pm - 3pm). Permits cost: 55p/hr, £1.65/4hr, or £2.20/6hr. (Invoiced via Airbnb at end of stay). I can issue permits with just a number plate and they can be time set in advance; doesn't guarantee a space! Parking is on the highway and totally at the guests responsibility including failing to obtain a permit. I'm not available 24/7 and delays in replying are possible. Shared Areas: Clean up used shared areas after yourself, including washing up used dishes and cutlery. Unfortunately due to a few careless and disrespectful guests cameras in shared areas will be reinstalled for the benefit of all guests and the security of my home. By booking all guests accept these conditions.
