The space Natural light floods into the lounge/diner area through large patio doors, making it a tranquil place for putting your feet up. Relax in front of the TV/DVD or curl up and lose yourself in a book. The kitchen is a great space for everyone to help rustle up meals which can be eaten either at the breakfast bar, dining table or, on mild evenings, eat alfresco on the patio. Both bedrooms are cosy and comforting, decorated in calming tones for a good night’s sleep while due to their quirky position in the eaves they have restricted headspace. The views across the rolling countryside are lovely and help you to switch off and enjoy your serene environment. The local, ancient market town of North Tawton is worth strolling into for local pubs, cafes and shops and has everything you need for your stay. From here you can hop onto the Tarka Trail and follow glorious riverside walks or make the 7-mile journey to Dartmoor National Park and tread the moors in search of tors, wild ponies and Bronze Age stone circles. Further afield at 30 miles from home, the sand, sea and surf at Westward Ho! are worthy of a day trip which can be completed by enjoying tasty fish and chips on the sea wall.
