Guest access Guests have access to the entire townhouse plus Harborwalk amenities: pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, laundry facilities. A key for the pool, key for tennis court and key for laundry will be given. Other things to note A two-minute walk to the bay and a two-minute walk to Hollywood Beach. Check-out: 11 am Directions and helpful tips: Your Beach Peach townhome is conveniently located close to all the fun activities across the street, such as Marinetime Museum, restaurants, coffee house, Sunday farmer’s market, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, parasailing, surrey biking and other bicycling, and boating to the Channel Islands through Island Packers. I provide more information and maps when you arrive. HARBORWALK COMPLEX The complex has wonderful features including: Pool and Jacuzzi There is a bathroom and outdoor shower. Pools are heated in the summer. Jacuzzi all year round. Tennis Courts Clubhouse is only used by owners. Laundry room The Beach: Welcome to Hollywood Beach. A famous beach of the stars. Also great swimming, surfing and boogie boarding. Lots of history here. Did you know that Erin Flynn, Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe and Joan Russel all had beach houses here? The Bay: There's also Channel Islands Harbor just across the street are all the fun activities you could ever want. The local Pizza place: Toppers has wonderful pictures of old Hollywood Beach where they used to film movies in the sand dunes. The bay hosts many fun events as well, such as car shows and kids events and Concerts by the Sea in the summer on Saturdays from 4 p to 6 pm. July 4 is truly a great celebration with family parade in the morning down Harbor Boulevard and fireworks galore that you can see even from the deck and balcony. Depending on rental season, you may have access to the garage. You’ll be given the remote opener for the garage. LOCKS & KEYS: The day you are arriving or before, you will be given a code for the front door lock. I will provide you with a map so you know where everything is. You’ll also get keys to the Pool/Spa area, the tennis courts, the laundry room and a key card for use of the laundry room. Please be sure to lock up when you leave and do not lose keys. Entry: I have the practice of removing shoes upon entry. Please follow that for keeping the carpet and floors clean. You can hang coats there as well. Kitchen: Kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee grinder and kettle for heating water. You will have access to salt, pepper and seasonings. And all dining ware and cooking pots and pans. Coffee Maker KitchenAid mixer And blender/food processor combo. Dining Room: Seats six people comfortably. But table can expand if desired. Leafs are built in and slide out. I would prefer you eat at the tables and outside areas. Living Room: Comfortable seating on couch and also around gas fireplace. Fireplace: Fireplace has a gas key near the fireplace under the cushioned seat. The fireplace doesn’t have a screen or glass, so please be careful. It’s very powerful, so adjust accordingly. NEVER LEAVE FIREPLACE ON WHEN YOU LEAVE. Bedrooms: Master Bedroom on second floor with queen bed and closet and drawers under bed for your use. There’s also a desk and chairs and TV and stereo bar for your enjoyment. Bathrooms: Full bath with bathtub on second floor. Please use fan after taking shower or bath or for odor control. Third Floor: Bathroom with rain feature luxury shower and heater. Lit mirror can be dimmed and also has anti-fog feature. Linens and towels provided. Soap and Shampoo and conditioner also. Balcony and deck: Balcony on second floor with table and chairs and loveseat with foot stool/cushion/table. Deck on third floor has eating bar and module cushioned furniture to set up as you see fit: L-shaped couch, two side by side chairs with foot rests or as dining chairs around folding table. Plants: My neighbor will attend to the plants two to three times per week, depending on season and weather. Please make arrangements to set a time when it’s convenient for you to have the plants watered once a week indoors and two to three times per week for outdoor plants. NO PARTIES, EVENTS OR DRUGS. You may have a couple of guests visit but not stay over. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm. NO candles in my home for safety reasons. Garage: You may have been given use of the garage to park your car. If so, I will give you instructions on that. The long cabinet in the garage to the left has boogie boards, beach chairs and a frisbee for your use. Laundry Room: I will provide you a key and laundry card for use of the washing and drying machines. The card can be refilled by going to the Harborwalk main clubhouse and pool area to use the machine to buy more laundry use. I'll have more information when you arrive!
