Other things to note When you arrive at the airport of Maupiti which is located on a motu (island) you will have to take the communal shuttle boat to come to the main island (Be aware the shuttle is not free, you need to have cash). It will drop you off at the Maupiti City Hall where the hosts will wait for you to finally take you to Fare Tai'a. If you arrive by boat, the host will take you to fare tai'a.
