Rose Cottage
Description
Relax with family and friends at this peaceful and cosy Yorkshire Dales cottage nestled in the grounds of Constable Burton Estate. Rose Cottage is a beautiful home-from-home, full of character and with everything you need to enjoy a break. Just a stone's throw from the stunning Constable Burton Hall, a private Grade I listed Georgian stately house with a family in residence, you have unique access to explore the gardens and woodlands. Pet friendly; children welcome. The space The front door opens onto a calm dining space with a family table and original decorative range. Next door you'll find a warm and cosy living room with comfy sofas, a Smart TV with Apple TV and Netflix, and a beautifully-tiled open fireplace. The master bedroom is situated just off the living room, sleeping two in a large double bed with a large chest-of-drawers. On the other side of the dining room, a long corridor spans the rest of the home and leads through to a light, airy and well-appointed kitchen with a fridge/freezer, fan oven & electric hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and all the countertop appliances you'll need to make yourself at home during your stay. The spacious bathroom features a shower-bath, toilet and hand wash sink - towels are provided. Next along the corridor is a bedroom perfect for children, with large, secure bunk beds to sleep two, plus a travel cot which can be set up on request. The final bedroom is another double room, a light and sunny space with plenty of chest-of-drawer storage. Rose Cottage is a bungalow; that said, this Georgian cottage does have several individual steps along its length due to the uneven level of the original floor. It also has its own fully enclosed garden space with both lawn and decking so you can sit out and enjoy the long summer evenings in this gorgeous part of the Dales. Guest access You will have full and exclusive use of Rose Cottage during your stay, and are welcome to explore the gardens and grounds of the stately home between 10am and 4pm, even if the gardens are closed to the wider public. The Hall itself is off limits as this is a private residence, and we would politely ask that you are mindful that there are other residents who live in the two cottages next door to Rose Cottage and keep noise to a minimum during the 'quiet hours'. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the grounds and in the shared front garden of the cottage due to this being a working countryside estate, but can be off lead in the back garden of Rose Cottage - this is accessible via a gate as you turn right out of the front door, and is fully enclosed.
