Looking for the perfect weekend getaway with friends? Look no further! Escape to our beautiful 3bd/3ba log home nestled on 10 forested acres. Enjoy sipping wine or morning coffee by the fire. Enjoy your favorite tunes on the Sonos sound system. When it’s time to unwind, gather around the crackling fire or cozy up for a movie night and stream your favorite shows from the 75” TV and sound bar. It’s the perfect setting for a weekend filled with laughter, games and making unforgettable memories! The space The rustic log home has 2 spacious master bedrooms with king beds and both with en suite. The warmth of the log home is inviting with a two-story grand room with wood fireplace . The main source of heat is from the wonderful wood stove. Sitting by the warm, crackling fire warms your soul, but you need to be willing to build and maintain a fire to stay toasty warm. And it gets very toasty! There are room a/c units in each of the upstairs rooms. The main floor tv room has a 75” smart tv with sound bar for a fun, cozy, movie-watching experience. We have a variety of games for rainy days or just hanging out. The dining room table seats 10. Gather, eat, play games and hangout with friends and family. Kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to prepare meals at the home; a wall oven and an additional slide-in double oven with wonderful pine slab breakfast bar and 3 bar stools, plenty of dishes and a Keurig that uses k cups or a grounds for a pot of coffee. There is a Kitchen Aid mixing stand, Ninja blender, hand mixer, air popcorn popper, crock pot, griddle and rice maker for your use. There is a futon in the great room and a twin xl alcove in the sunset room for a total of 10 people to sleep. The back yard is perfect for lawn games or simply sitting on the porch and chatting next to the propane fire pit, perfect for hanging out during summer thunderstorms or staying in the shade while the kids play out back. We now have a play set (kids only, please) for kids to enjoy and a log picnic bench for you to kick back while you watch your kids play. We have half a mile of walking trails where deer can frequently been seen and many other wild life. Guest access Guest have access to the log home and porch and over 1/2 mile of trails on the heavily forested 10 acres. Large grassy areas surround the log home and are perfect for yard games. Guests can enjoy disk golf on the property. There is no access to any of the outbuildings, and we asked that guests stay on our property. If you wish to have an event here, that is extra. Check our website for details. Other things to note We ask that our guest follow two simple rules. Show respect and kindness for our wonderful neighbors, and help us care for the home so that we can continue to share it with our friends and family and guests. There are no ducts in the home due to the log build. Therefore, there are portable a/c units in the two upstairs bedrooms only at this time. Fires are only allowed at specified times, and in designated fire pits. Please refer to all notices on the property and in your reservation information. Fires are not allowed in outdoor fire pits during county fire bans which are often July-August. Propane fires are legal during burn bans. Staff may access the property facilities and the grounds during your stay. ONLY registered guests are allowed to stay on the property. If you have non-registered guests staying there will be an additional $25 per person charge. You can easily change this in the ABnB app or we can send an additional fee request to you. EVENTS: ABnB stays are not “events”. The Gathering Porch is an event venue that lists on ABnB when events are not booked. You are NOT allowed to host an event with extra people other than those registered to stay.
