Nehalem Getaway – Walk to River, Close to Ocean

Set on a sunny hillside above the small riverside town of Nehalem, our cozy two-bedroom, two-bath home is an easy place to relax between Oregon Coast adventures. Walk into town for coffee, food, shops and the river, or drive a few minutes to Manzanita Beach, Nehalem Bay and nearby hiking trails. Back at the house, enjoy the fenced yard, spacious patio, fire pit, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room to settle in. The space Welcome to our home! We’ve spent the past few years making it a comfortable and welcoming place to relax after exploring the Oregon Coast, and we’re so happy to share it with you. The home includes two bedrooms with one king bed and one queen bed, plus a living room sleeping nook or couch for an additional guest. There are two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV, fireplace and coffee station. Outside, you’ll find a spacious back patio with seating, a BBQ, fire pit and fully fenced yard. The driveway has parking for up to two vehicles. We provide linens, blankets, pillows, beach towels and a selection of toys and games. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, cookware and dishes. Please be respectful of the neighborhood and keep outdoor noise to a minimum, especially in the evening. The backyard slopes down the hillside and is fully fenced and enclosed. Parts of the fence can be difficult to see through the foliage, but it continues around the entire backyard. Neighborhood highlights The house is within walking distance of downtown Nehalem, the river, docks, restaurants and shops. Manzanita Beach, Nehalem Bay State Park, Oswald West State Park and Wheeler are all just a short drive away. Nearby activities include beach walks, hiking, surfing, kayaking, crabbing, fishing, whale watching, pickleball and beach bonfires. The local community center, indoor pool and playgrounds are also close by. Getting around The house has easy access to Highway 101, making it a convenient home base for exploring Manzanita, Wheeler, Cannon Beach, Rockaway Beach, Tillamook and the surrounding Oregon Coast. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, including the exterior of the front and back of the property, less the garage.
