Enjoy your stay at my family’s home in downtown Craig, just steps away from cafes, bars, gift shops, coffee, beaches, and historic Cannery Point. Guests stay in a newly remodeled, street and harbor-facing unit with private bath and kitchenette. The space Built in the 1930s by my great grandparents as the 11-room Thompson Hotel, the home has hosted countless guests and boarders as well as 6 generations of family. I currently live and work in the home, and there is an apartment on the ground floor which hosts traveling professionals who come to Prince of Wales during the work week. Renovations have maintained the boutique-hotel layout, making it ideal for those who may prefer their privacy but don’t mind the feel of folks coming and going. Please note that the property is centrally located in historic downtown Craig amidst bars, cafes, and popular summer event spaces. Guests should be aware that street noise may be unavoidable during the busy months of Jun-Aug, as well as Friday and Saturday evenings during the winter. If you are an especially light sleeper or value a guarantee of a quiet location then my home may not be a good fit for you, but guests who prioritize location will find a white noise machine and disposable earplugs provided for their comfort! Guest access In addition to their room, guests may use the covered porch of the main house, which can be accessed through the front yard gate. Please do not go through the house at this time as there may be construction zones. Other things to note The house is a shared space with many guests who travel for work. Quiet hours must be respected and apply to all areas of the property to ensure all guests are guaranteed as comfortable a stay as possible. There is regularly street parking available near the house, as well as a large parking lot just one block west. Private parking may be made available on certain days of the week and requests will always be accommodated if possible—feel free to inquire! :)
