Spoilt for choice with bars, restaurants, cafes, Luna Park, Palais Theatre & Espy all on your doorstep including the F1 in March. 2 tram stops has you in the city in 20mins to access countless events eg Aus Open/cricket/AFL, concerts, theatre, restaurants, shopping, cultural events & Melbourne has to offer. This is our lived home & only occasionally rented out whilst we are away. The space Our home is in the perfect location. We are in the heart of St Kilda with the beach & Albert Park 5min walk from the door, perfect if you’re attending the F1 in March. A quick 20 min tram ride has you into the CBD for the countless attractions & events Melbourne offers e.g. concerts, footy, Australian Open, musicals & theatre, exhibitions plus all the award winning restaurants, fabulous bar scene & live music Melbourne is known for. The apartment is beautifully & thoughtfully styled with 2 large bedrooms both with BIR & 1 bathroom in a secure building just off the hustle & bustle of one of the main streets of St Kilda, not that you would know it as it is exceptionally quiet. Spread across 2 levels, the bottom level consists of open plan living, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining either casually at the island bench or at the 6 seat dining table, living room, reading nook & a small balcony. The upstairs level hosts 2 large bedrooms with adequate hanging & drawer storage, renovated modern bathroom with large shower with high quality toiletries provided & a European style laundry with both a washer & dryer. Our home is a light filled NE facing apartment with floor to ceiling windows, small balcony for outdoor relaxing with your morning coffee or afternoon vino, stylishly decorated living spaces with original commissioned Artworks by multiple Australian artists & is fully equipped with absolutely everything you need for a both short or long stay. We do ask you to please note before requesting to book our apartment you are fully aware this is our primary residence which we only make occasionally available for short/medium term rental when we are away for work or on holidays. As such it is a lived in property with our personal belongings & naturally it is a lived in environment. It is not an investment property solely used for Airbnb. Whilst we will take every measure to have our home beautifully presented, very clean & tidy with ample storage room for guest belongings your arrival, it is a loved & lived in home. We kindly ask you be respectful of our home & our belongings which due to space constraints we cannot store offsite & to please understand as it is not a commercial investment managed by a third party service there will be traces of evidence of being a loved & lived in beautiful home. Whilst we do not provide an “end of lease” style cleaning service, the apartment is always thoroughly cleaned, high quality amenities provided & guests are welcome to use any of our pantry staples. We do have a secure underground car park that can be available upon request for a small one off fee. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment & secure underground car parking if required (small additional one off fee). We will ensure you have both ample hanging & drawer space in both bedrooms & bathroom cabinet space for your toiletries during your stay. All we ask is to please not go through our personal belongings or consume our alcohol. We will however leave you a bottle of wine or some beers for you to enjoy during your stay & you are more than welcome to use any pantry staples or frozen foods in the fridge. Other things to note It is important you are fully aware this is our home & not a commercial investment property. It is furnished with our actual furniture, personal belongings & is a home not a resort or hotel. We simply ask you respect this & not take anything from our home or go through our wardrobes or drawers that contain our belongings such as clothing etc. We also want to be extremely transparent that whilst our home will always be thoroughly cleaned & beautifully presented prior to your arrival, having expectations that an “end of lease” or 5 star hotel cleaning service prior to your stay is conducted is not realistic & there will be the odd trace of the apartment being a lived in home. We ask you to please be mindful of this when requesting to book our apartment. However if you genuinely are seeking a beautiful comfortable home away from home with the convenience of all the fixtures & features of a home, located a 5 min walk to the beach & 20 min tram to the centre of the city then my home is perfect for you. If you are looking for hotel style accommodation & services we suggest you explore other avenues.
