Fireplace Lodging at Mt. Rainier's Mountain Lily Cabin is the perfect base for an adventure or weekend getaway. Bordered on three sides by over 250 sq. ft. of covered deck with views of the towering douglas fir trees, vine maples and wild huckleberries when in season. Inside, the gas fireplace adds comfort and ambiance after a relaxing dip in the private hot tub. Airbnb fees (~14%) apply on this platform. No "best price" match on ABB for rates found elsewhere. Hot tub big enough for four people, but just for the two of you. En-suite gas fireplace. Hotel quality sheets. Eco-friendly bamboo-blend bathroom towels. Fresh coffee beans. "Smart” TV or DVD player to access your favorite programming over Wi-Fi. No cable/satellite service. Bring your favorite grill recipes and make use of the gas barbecue outside on the deck. Check-in is from 5 pm until midnight for guests booking via Airbnb. Our housekeeping schedule may change based upon your expected arrival. If you are able to let us know your plans, we would appreciate it. Please remember, a check-in prior to 5 pm should not be expected. The studio size queen bedroom/kitchenette and bathroom with shower are all yours. The hot tub is not shared and is available anytime during your stay. We generally try to stay out of the way, but live just a short way away. We are an easy phone call or drive away, should you need any assistance. We may be reached via text as well: 6575-CABINS We are happy to help meet any reasonable requests that you may have. We'd also love to connect with you! You can find us on your favorite social media site by searching for Fireplace Lodging at Mt. Rainier. We'll share photos and videos of Mt. Rainier as well as local tips and events for your getaway. Please reach out and let us know you're there - we'd love to follow back! Just 5 miles from the Main Nisqually Entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, the cabin is situated in the recreational community of Bavarian Retreat. Across the street is a pond in the Paradise Estates Community that you may visit that we are members of. It is a nice place to stroll and see birds, roaming deer and otters occasionally fishing. Hiking is a short distance away in the Park or Federal/State Forests. You can grab a burger and blackberry pie at one of the local restaurants about 5 miles away. And remember to bring your favorite foods for grilling, but get your groceries before you are in Ashford. We don't have a regular grocery store! Roads are paved. Last stop for fuel is in Ashford. Winters are mild, but we can occasionally have a few feet of snow. In this case, we strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle, and if not, tire chains and skill to properly use them. Photos give general idea as to the unit/its layout. Sometimes we replace flooring, trim, bedding, furniture, paint, etc., current pictures may not always reflect. If anything is important to you, please inquire.
