Welcome to HundredAkre Wood Cabin (Actually 16acres of private land for your use). This magnificent newly constructed cabin features 16 wooded, private acres with frontage along Michigamme River. Perfect for swimming. It is the perfect destination to enjoy all that the UP woods has to offer, along with the comforts and modern amenities of a relaxing vacation. You’ll enjoy Smart TV’s in each bedroom, stone fireplace in the living room & 85” QLED in the family room for incredible movie nights The space Hundred Akre Woods Cabin is your Upper MI cabin get-away🌲 Newly constructed in ‘23-‘24, you will find the cabin to be modern yet unique and full of customized decor. MAIN LEVEL: As you enter the cabin with your unique code, ensuring your security, you will be greeted by a spacious floor to ceiling stone fireplace. The open concept area has 2 recliners and a couch to relax in front of the woodburning fireplace. A beautiful custom made Brazilian Chestnut table seats 10. You’ll find additional seating on 4 handcrafted barrel stools around a granite island. Your kitchen is filled with modern amenities like a dishwasher, microwave, air-fryer, 4-slice toaster, gas stove, electric kettle and refrigerator with ice maker. It features beautiful granite countertops. The well stocked coffee bar is a perfect place to start your day with ground & pod coffees supplied. You will find plenty of dishware, pots and pans, bakeware, and utensils to ensure you have what you need to cook. *Feel free to inquire on any specific kitchen questions. Central Air-conditioning and Heating systems individually controlled on main and lower levels. MAIN LEVEL BEDROOM AND BATH: As you enter the main floor bedroom, you find a king-sized log bed. This bedroom contains a dresser, 50 inch smart TV and desk fan. The sconce lighting on each side of the bed gives the room added warmth and ambience. You will find USB outlets on both sides of the bed along with a white noise machine. Located next to this bedroom, you will find a full bath, that features two vessel sinks and a tub/ shower combo. Towels, washcloths, hand towels, soaps all stocked. MASTER EN-SUITE: Ascending the staircase, past Bartell lantern style sconces, you will enter the master en-suite, which also features a king log bed , twin-size trundle, providing 2 additional twin beds, a 45inch smart TV, dresser, and attached bathroom. Clothes rack for hanging clothes in master. This bathroom features a beautiful, black freestanding tub with views of the woods as you soak. A separate tiled shower ensures guests have the option of a shower or bath. LOWER LEVEL: As you enter the family room downstairs you will find a space for everyone to hang out. The main feature being a Samsung Neo QLED 85” TV with surround sound (Sonos Arc with mini sub) for incredible movie viewing. This smart TV, and all the TVs in the home, are loaded with Hulu, Prime, Angel and YouTube TV along with many other apps for you to enjoy. You will find an electric fireplace for added warmth and a large sectional couch. The space features a foosball table, air-hockey table and arcade style game. You will find the 3rd bathroom on this level which features a tiled rain-shower style walk-in shower. LOWER LEVEL BEDROOM: The lower level bedroom features enough space to sleep 8. All beds are custom log beds with one stand alone queen, and two bunkbeds. Bunkbeds are full-size over queen sized. A dresser, 43” smart TV, portable fan, and toys for the little ones can all be found in this room. PATIO: As you walk out of the sliding glass patio doors you will find a deck space outside with patio furniture, Oklahoma smoker grill, and a Blackstone flat iron grill (Blackstone not available in snowing months). Fire pit with seating around it makes for great evening bonfires. 2 patio fans are mounted to create a light breeze to help keep those flying insects at bay. YARD: You will find a grassy area for outside activities and a path that takes you down to the river. Enjoy swimming in the river at your own risk, as the river is moving and varies in depth from 2 feet to 10 feet in the areas immediately adjacent to the river frontage. After the spring thaw, chairs, swing and fire pit are provided at rivers edge. You will find a 2nd fire pit area (propane) and newly added screened gazebo area. ADDITIONAL PARKING: The property can easily fit extra trailers for your UTV’s, snowmobiles and boats. There is also a few locations on the property where camping and or an RV could be parked for an additional fee. Please contact host for more information when bringing an RV. KAYAKS: The Michigamme River is a wonderful river to kayak down. 4 kayaks are available for use and will require a signed waiver before using. Contact Host prior to arrival for exact details on use and signing waiver. Limited supply of life-jackets. Guest should supply appropriately size for self. WIFI: Although cell reception can be spotty - depending on carrier and location on property, we offer Starlink internet ~ an incredibly fast and reliable internet. SAUNA: You are enveloped in a cozy warmth as the large windows give you a view of the woods, creating a serene and calming atmosphere, allowing you to feel connected to nature while enjoying the soothing heat and the earthy scent of cedar around you. WILDLIFE: The property is remote and heavily wooded, therefore presenting a higher possibility of a wildlife encounter. It is common for deer, moose, blackbear, skunks, snakes and other wildlife common to UP to pass thru the perimeters of the property. Please do not approach, but instead enjoy sightings from a distance. Do not leave food outside as it will attract unwanted pests. Insects and other pests are common in wildlife, and no refunds will be given for bothersome pests. Keep doors closed to avoid inviting in any pests. CLEANING: We take cleaning before guest visits very seriously and all touchable surfaces are disinfected before guests arrive. All bathroom floor rugs, toss pillows, and all beddings, including mattress pads, are machine washed on high temp after each guest checkout with scent-free detergent. Cleaning supplies are left for guests use. Additional cleaning information can be provided when requested. Guest access Guests have access to entire home. One storage area is locked and cannot be accessed by guests. House manual located on guest table also lists location of one locked door. SECURITY is IMPORTANT to us! Each stay has its own unique code that only works during each guests stay. Codes are never stored or reused.
