The Mill House

A stunning 4-bedroom Mill House set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside close to the city of Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Bicester Village. The house is set in a large garden with a swimming pool and tennis court. The house is within walking distance of the Crazy Bear Hotel and a short drive from the renowned Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. We are in an idyllic spot perfect for relaxing with friends or family. The space The house is set in a large garden with a tennis court and heated swimming pool (pool available from 25 May to 29 September). There is plenty of free parking for guests' cars. Enjoy our various outdoor seating areas. There is a comfortable outdoor dining table on the kitchen patio, a poolside table and chairs (and sun loungers) and our sun filled garden room. You can enjoy the use of a gas BBQ and you can buy all your BBQ supplies around the corner from The Wild Pig Farmshop. There are plenty of games options for you to enjoy including croquet on the front lawn and and indoor games room with table football, table tennis and board games. SAFETY NOTE - the swimming pool is unfenced and there is a stream running through the garden. Children must be supervised at all times when using the outdoor areas. Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the house and garden (including tennis court, swimming pool, garden room and games room). Please note the owners are sometimes in residence in an adjacent cottage which has a completely separate entrance and garden. This will not be accessible for guests. Next to the carport there are double gates into a stable yard which is out of bounds to all guests. In addition to the large garden, the property is surrounded by 12-acres of pasture land some of which is grazed by horses. Please speak to the owner if you would like to walk through the fields to discuss which are safe to access. Other things to note We kindly ask guests to respect our neighbours in relation to outdoor noise and in particular ensure that there is no noise outdoors between the hours of 11pm - 8am. It may be possible for luggage to be dropped off early and stored in a locked garage. Please contact the owner to request this. Please be aware that we have a groundsman on site on Tuesdays and Thursdays working in the garden areas.
