You will enjoy mountain views, sunsets, along with a modern cozy feel inside the cabin. We love that the area has a Robin Hood theme that continues to all the roads in the area. On the drive to the cabin, you will see amazing views of Pikes Peak. The cabin features a loft bedroom with a luxurious queen size bed (w/100% cotton sheets) with a quaint sitting area. USB ports by both night stands. A cozy living room with a leather pullout couch and a 50” TV with Roku, so you can sign into your own account. An assortment of books and games. Imagine sitting out on the deck with your morning coffee or tea and watching the deer peacefully graze by. At night, you will want to cozy up by the gas fire pit on the deck and listen for the wolves from the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center, only 5 min away. Be sure to check out our guide book for places to explore and restaurants to dine at before you set out on your getaway! Only 5 min from nearest grocery store and 12 min from Woodland Park. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole Aframe, private deck, and yard. Other things to note Upstairs Loft The ladder/stairs to the loft is steep and we recommend when coming down, that you face the ladder/stairs to be more safe. There is also an extra hand rail on the side if needed. Be sure to look at pictures in listing of the ladder/stairs to make sure it is accessible to you. Luggage may be harder to take up to the loft, so we recommend that you use the luggage rack in the entry way near the bathroom. There is also another luggage rack upstairs in the loft that’s handy for duffle bags or small suitcases. Kitchen Fully stocked kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, and an apartment size fridge. Rice cooker, crockpot, coffee grinder, milk frother, french press, pour over, Keurig, and a Goose neck kettle. Some spices, sugar/powdered creamer, olive oil, coffee pods/beans decaf/reg as well as a variety of tea. Complimentary snacks and water bottles. Pet Policy This home has a no pet policy. An extra fee of $200 will be charged if policy is not honored. No smoking/vaping policy. If policy is broken, a $300 fee will be charged. A/C There is no AC, but there is a ceiling fan in the living room. Plus, the cool mountain air is wonderful. So open the sliding door with screen or windows for fresh air when needed. There is a box fan available for you to use as well. In the months of October - April when it snows, you will need an AWD or 4WD vehicle as the last 1/8th of a mile is steep and on a dirt road. We also do not allow check-in or check-out on holidays. No open fires are allowed on the property. We have a fire pit for your use on the deck. If there is a fire ban, we will be sure to let you know, not to use the fire pit.
