The space [A landscape where you can feel the grandeur of nature] The scenery of the Yatsugatake Mountains and Sakuhei, which changes with the weather and the passage of time, gives you the feeling of being drawn into the magnificent nature. [A Site for Strolling] The grounds of Tsumugumori are about 5,900 square meters. The farmland, which had been abandoned for 50 years, was maintained by hand, without the use of heavy machinery, while preserving the trees. Even now, local people, volunteers, and staff are working together to maintain it little by little. The grounds are dotted with gardens, benches, and objects. Feel free to enjoy the changing Tsumuguri. [Understand this land and its people by staying here] Until I lived here, I didn't know that at 4 am in the middle of summer, the fields were lit with headlights and people were harvesting fresh broccoli. Look out over the Yatsugatake Mountains while feeling the lives of the people. And at night, the lights of the city will soothe your soul. Tsumuguri is not in the depths of nature, but it is a place where you can face yourself and reflect on your daily life. [A warm and peaceful space created by new and old wood] Part of the interior uses old wood reclaimed from a pre-war house. The space, with its blend of old and new wood and Japanese and Western-style furniture, is available for one group per day. There is also a small raised space where you can lie down and a rocking chair, so you can spend a relaxing time with your loved ones. [Facilities for experiencing life] The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There are also restaurants, but even simple dishes are fine, so I want you to enjoy cooking with local vegetables and ingredients. Rather than just a place to sleep while visiting tourist destinations, we want it to be a place where you can enjoy the scenery and climate and experience life a little. [Location where you can fully enjoy the Asama Minami Fumoto] Tsumuguri Stay is located at the northeastern entrance of Komoro City, about 20 minutes to Karuizawa and about 25 minutes to the Takamine Kogen Highlands, where you can enjoy mountain climbing, hiking, and skiing. In addition, Komoro City, which can be reached in about 10 minutes, is a charming town for strolling, with new restaurants and retail shops in the streets that retain traces of a post town on the Northern Highway.
