The Old House is a Bed and Breakfast in Historic Downtown Mechanicsburg that offers room and event rentals as well as the option of having the whole house to yourself! *Please note as required by zoning the host keeps a residence on a separate part of the property and will be on site during your stay, but not in the home. **Other parties may use the pool during your rental but will not have access to the house ***Price does not include price for events that include non-overnight guests. The space The Old House was built in the 1830s and retains all the charm and character of the original building along with additions that have been made by various owners over the years. The home is 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, a large open living and dining area, modern rustic kitchen, and gardens and patios surrounding the home. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house minus the attic, basement and storage room. The pool will also be available if no previously scheduled pool parties are taking place. Other things to note While the house is located on a busy street and some traffic noise is audible, especially at rush hour, the contrast between the downtown location of the property and the country farmhouse setting you find when you pull in the driveway is one of the most remarkable aspects of the property.
