Kitchen and laundry are shared. Set in the historic conservation area of Grantchester, you’ll be less than 2 miles from central Cambridge. With 4 village pubs, the Orchard Tea Gardens and Cambridge Distillery all in easy walking distance, take the opportunity to enjoy a real taste of Grantchester. The space Our Cambridge home is yours to enjoy and is private, peaceful and comfortable. The first floor is entirely for your use, featuring 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 single), along with the generous main bathroom. Ground floor spaces include a lounge+ dining room, full kitchen and conservatory. Our Airbnb cohost with her own separate space makes some use of ground floor areas, however you'll have full access to everything you need including your own fridge. Please note: the downstairs bathroom is reserved for our cohost. We hope you enjoy your stay here! The house: The front door opens into a vestibule with coat hooks and a shoe rack. The full kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob. There's a washing machine, tumble dryer and covered clothing line in the adjacent utility room. The spacious combined lounge / dining room has a sofa, armchair and 50" smart TV, as well as a dining table which comfortably seats 6. French doors lead into the bright conservatory, with a bar height table that can be used as a workspace or sunny breakfast area. Conservatory doors open onto private garden space, with outdoor seating. The first floor has 3 bedrooms: a large double bedroom with a king size bed, a small double bedroom with a double bed, and a cosy single bedroom overlooking the rear garden. All bedrooms have wardrobes and drawers for your use. The spacious family bathroom has a separate shower, bath tub and bidet as well as WC and hand basin. The house is set back from the road in a peaceful residential area, and the property benefits from double glazing and plenty of natural light. Guest access You'll have your own set of keys available from the key safe for ease of access during your stay. During your stay You’ll let yourselves in and out with the convenience of a key safe. Co-host Jemima will be available as required to answer any questions and help you find your way. Other things to note Our home is very comfortable and your experienced host is ready to welcome you! The driveway can accommodate two small / medium cars. No. 18 bus regularly runs between the city centre and Grantchester.
